Reinstalling Sound DrivesFollow

Me again, well i posted about my computer crashing while playing FFXI, that does'nt seem to be the problem anymore. But in attempt to doing so somehow my sound drivers or something have gotten uninstalled. I went on windows updates and installed the latest driver updates for my computer, the download finished, comp restarted and i came back on with no sound. The only sound i get is that annoying beep made by the tower. Someone in a earlier topic said about uninstalling and reinstalling my sound drivers.Do you think this would work? If so could someone please explain how i would be able to do this or any other things i could do.
