I hear that the New PS2 with a Hard Drive in it.. will come with FFXI installed already.

So it is true that if someone wants to play this on PS2.. that they CANNOT do it on their original PS2.... and they are going to have to purchase the new one with the hard drive first? or is there a way to Upgrade your old PS2?

if not it sounds like quite a money maker

The hard drive can be added to any existing PS2

After the Network Adapter came out, PS2 started marketing both a regular PS2, and a PS2 w/ the Network Adapter. It only make sense that when the PS2 Hard Drive comes out, they will offer a PS2 w/ Network Adapter and HDD. However, any PS2 owner can buy the HDD seperately and install it themselves into their curennt version of the PS2.
