Don't you think that being able to name your bazaar everytime you set it up would be cool and useful for everyone? That way people can set up bazaars and name it according to what they're selling. For example, i'm selling some copper/silver/gold ores i name it OreForSale, or if i'm selling foods i could name them Fast-Food for some creativity.

This will also save the trouble of having to check every single bazaar of players.. things can get sold faster, and players would know which seller to check on.

What do you guys think?

You can name your bazaar by putting comments in. You knew that, right? Or are you asking more people to name their bazaar for faster selling?

I think there should also be a graphic of a table or a tent or somthing with goods on it.... that would look cool..like a big flea-market.... It would look realistic anyway....

The ability to advertise would be nice too.... putting signs up everywhere that you can target and read... or maybe at least some catalog on a wall some where that show what items are for sale by whom...... well.. that's pretty close to the AH..

..unfortunatly.. the songs of the cosmos and akashic record tells me....

It's not going to Happen

Erm...i mean the name of your bazaar would appear directly beside/below/above your name. In order to read the comment..one has to check...

I get a little tired of there being 30 people sitting around the AH selling stuff, and generally slowing things down, but where else could they really go, and get the foot traffic they need. What if we had a "Designated" Bazaar area. I have had this little twinkle in the back of my head for some time now.

What if there were a large area set aside in every town, and people could set up "shop" there. You pay a small "donation" to the town, and are allowed a certain Quantity of goods in your bazaar. The higher the "donation" the more elaborate your shop. You can go in and Bazaar for free, however it's the old way where you just have a little bag over your head. By making a donation you could gain the following benefits.

A way to name your bazaar so people only have to glance at you to see what you're selling

A visual reference based on the number of items you are allowed to have up for sale at any one time. If you make a donation to bazaar 10 items you sit on a blanket, 20 items gets you a little lean to, 40 items you get a small tent stall, and so forth. If you leave the bazaar area then your stall gets removed, and you have to re-pay.

Imagine if something like this took off. We could actually do travelling merchant stuff . . . or if you just got done farming Dhlmel meat you could then go find the guy in the bazaar selling food he crafts, and sell the Dhalmel meat to him. Thus realizing an immediate influx of Gill while also saving him time of farming the stuff, and even cutting him a slight deal with the price. We might be able to realize a truly player based economy where it would be more difficult to artificially inflate prices.

We would want to turn off shouting in such an area though.

Anyway I started thinking about this when someone posted on the forum that killing all the "Twinkling Treants" would open a Merchants guild, and I started fantasizing about what you could do. Just a littlre dream of mine.

Interesting idea, however will 99.9999% likely never happen.

I would like to see a place where people can rent or buy tables or stalls. Kind of like a flea market atmosphere. I'd prefer this place to be somewhere outside the major cities, but then foot traffic would be a problem.
