Half the people who drive me nuts by not being able to stay on one side of a mob so I can sneak (I can't dude, I use auto follow during battle) are using a keyboard. Hate the camera? Well, a gamepad completely fixes it that too. (you move with one stick and position the camera with the other) And you can use your macros from the controller as well (accessed from the shoulder buttons). Menus are easy too, you use the dpad to scroll theough them, pretty soon you'll be able to use your menus while you are moving (use the thumb you were using to control the camera to move, use your left thumb on the dpad) Once you get used to it a controller is faster. I still use the ketboard for a few things, but 95% of the time I use the controller.

Final Fantasy XI 12-14-11 Update wrote:
Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.
I thought of it first:
