I've done this twice on 2 different druid characters but it's been awhile and I don't remember any specific problems here. The thread this was moved from is loaded with tips and pointers so I'd go thru those with a fine-tooth comb. Beyond that, try asking in-game, especially the druid channel on your server.

One thing that would be nice on ZAM, is to see where the recent posts are, in the item/quest/spell/zone area. In the forums themselves, we can see this (that's the order they're listed in).

Is she asking about one of the druid epic quest, or the ornamentation quest (where the question is posted). I read through the bit above, and didn't see any mention of a hermit, or Ursa whatever. Ok. reading more there's some kind of bonus side quest, mentioned in the comments. Very confusing IMO.

Um... I'll toss out my stock answer when an NPC doesn't respond to dialog. Are you invisible?

My highest druid got to 55 and didn't even look up the epic, let alone attempt it. I think you are right gbaji and the OP may be trying to do the ornamentation... but I'm not sure.

Yes, it's for the ornamentation. I hope she already has her epic as you can't get the ornament without already having completed the original epic quest.

Thanks, Snailish, for the pointer to recent posts in the non-forum areas

With all of my breaks over the years, I must have missed that you can do epic ornamentations! That would actually make me spend the SC (or DBC, I guess) to turn on Hero's Forge :)

I'm pretty sure you don't have to have hero's forge purchased for that. I don't recall doing it and my original Rayder has been dual wielding ragebringers since that quest was introduced.

You don't need hero's forge because I did the ornamentation quest for my mages epic 2.0 and it works fine. I don't have heros forge on any of my toons.

FYI very important when you get to the last step in the epic ornamentation quest, do NOT have a merc up when you zone into Jaggedspine. This bugged me very badly and I could NOT finish the quest. I ended up having to cancel and delete it and start all over again.

I agree. It's just a quest that allows you an ornament to make your weapon look like the epic weapon. Those re not part of Hero's Forge (that's just armor). Weapon ornaments have been around since the beginning of LoN, maybe even before that.
