Hi all,
Have decided to start playing again after a long absence. My old bard had a drum with a "play dead" effect that may have been called fade. I loved having this for pulling. I can't find any reference to the item in searching the forums. Anyone know the name of the item and if it is still available to get. It was a lore/dropped item. Thanks for the help.

I only looked quickly, but for fade you'd need to be a rogue Mrylokar's Boots are the only item listed under the fade effect.
Now, if a different named similar effect was put on a bard item my little search would not of found it.
Hopefully knowledgeable players here can help you out.

Thanks for looking. I don't remember what the effect was called, just guessing. I couldn't find any drums here that had any effect but was only able to search for the word drum and look at that list. May have been called something without the word drum in it.......
I spent some more time using the search tool. Sorting Bard drums by all effects I got very few overall. Most of these were instrument focus mods. I narrowed my search to only look at 4-5 expansions at a time and was only getting about 8 drums. The newer drums seemed to have a combat buff for weapons skills on it. Several others were a 2-3 school resist buff or such. The rest were various small damage over time type things.
Now, I may have misread or mis-searched, but nothing I came up with came close to what you describe.
As for bard pulling tools... singing steel helm was much-wanted back in the day.

Thanks everyone for looking. I feel like a tool now, I signed up for premium and did some searching of my own. Seems my memory sucks. I thought it was a drum, turns out it was not. The Item I was trying to remember was Tiny Cloak of Darkest Night. Not even close to a drum. I also remember getting it at a low level so was thinking of having my new level 20 Bard get one but was wrong there also. Guess I have to get to level 45 first. Funny how memories don't work.... Thanks for all that looked and tried to help. With a premium account my questions will be better researched in the future. Sorry all.

Tiny Cloak of Darkest Night was not an item I remembered, so cool to hear about it.
