Beings DBG has been working with the developers of MQ2 and perhaps other hacking sites. I think that for the first time in more than 10 years you will have a real server with little to no hacking. Beings DBG can detect people that use MQ in all cases (have been for years) i would assume that anyone detected of using MQ will be properly punished.
So it looks like the new server will be No Box, No MQ server. This will be the only server where any achievements have merit and integrity.
The folks responsible for creating MQ (and other sites) have made it their priority to give DBG a hack free server.

Other games seem to do the following:
1. Break third party things they don't like.
2. Ban people using third party things they don't like and can't seem to break.
3. Steal the good idea from the third party thing and sell it in the next expac, or at least cheerlead their own awesomeness in the next game update.
The no-boxing server is a really odd idea. Boxer accounts would add up to a considerable amount of subscriptions in my view... like Baz accounts once did. If the idea of the server is "you are you and either must be truly independent or work with others" I am fine with that... but then it should be 1 character per account per server (like FV was for years). Perhaps oddly... that ruleset (1 character) interests me far more than no-boxing... and I gave up on boxing years ago.
Have they officially announced any further servers? My understanding at this time was there is talk/speculation but nothing confirmed.
I do box, but I think it's an awesome idea. For those who just get crazy over the whole subject, it's a server they can play on and not worry about it.
And it doesn't lose any money from the boxers (subs, etc) because they're still on the old servers they play on. So, it's a win-win.

Yeah, I have to agree.
Any server ruleset that involves a bit of different coding to start it, but otherwise just runs is a no-brainer in my view. Either the concept will hold enough population to be viable or it won't. I can't think of any server ruleset they could make that could harm the standard live servers population wise. A new PVP server done right could finish off Zek perhaps.
Ironically, the loot code on FV results in a dev decision on every single item they create for the game (will this be nodrop on FV or not?). Granted they likely just choose a handful of things to keep as nodrop on FV and the rest are default tradable there.
Starting a new thread with the same topic only days after starting the sister thread? Especially when you can't be bothered to interact with forum users here? It's one thing to call attention to hack programs, it's quite another to parade your hobbyhorse and spam links to websites.
