Haste click item (s)Follow

I am looking for a haste click item (s) that I can use on myself as well as other toons, pets and mercs. I do not care if it is 10% any attack speed boost will be beneficial. I prefer one I can either buy or solo on my 94 Mage, one that will work for level 5 toon.

Speaking of haste what is the highest rate or percentage can get. I know there is potions, over haste items, item think highest is 45% or 50% then Bard over haste if you add that all together at level 105 with max AA, I am just curious what it is...

Hmmm... There's basically three types of haste. Worn, spell, and over. I'm not aware of a clickable haste item that casts spell haste on someone else (actually, I'm not sure of any that cast it on self either). There are clickable overhaste items (self only as far as I've ever seen), but those usually require higher levels to use (like 85+ I think).

Guess I'm not sure what you're trying to do. If you need haste on a character, just buy potions. They're pretty cheap. Worn items aren't hard to come by, although at lower levels it's a bit trickier. Just search the bazaar for haste items. If you want to actually cast haste on others, I think you have to be one of the classes that can cast haste on others. I'm not aware of any items that allow you to do this. Course, I'm hardly aware of every item in the game, so maybe there's some obscure item out there that does what you're looking for.

Thank you for the reply. What I was trying to accomplish is being able to get a haste clickly to be able to haste my Mage pet and Merc. Oh well maybe I can suggest a potion that haste the entire group or item in the market place and see what happens. Trying to find a BeastLord, Shaman and Enchanter all the time can be time consuming and not always happens.

Sit in the Guild Lobby, set your merc on passive, and walk away for a few hours while watching TV, or eating dinner, or whatever. If it's really that important.

In the grand scheme of things, having haste on pets and mercs isn't really going to make that much difference. It's certainly not such a huge deal that I'd spend any significant effort or resources obtaining it. Again though, others may post some ways to do this. I'm not aware of any though.

Sitting in the guild lobby is fine but if pet dies or merc then haste is gone or it wears off. As much as I hate it will just box a Shaman.

If I remember correctly,
The Mage Burnout line, at the higher levels (for mage pets) has a higher haste percentage than Shammy buffs and the pet will use the higher of the two hastes if a Shammy was to cast his Alacrity or Celerity lines on the pet...The haste will not stack on the pet even though you see that both Burnout and Alacrity/Celerity haste buff landed..
They stack in the buff window because of the other effects-and their slot numbers- that Burnout line adds to the mage pets melee stats. Such as: Increase all skills modifiers by x percent...increase strength by x amount.. Increase attack by x amount.. Increase AC by x amount and.. increase attack speed by x percent.

While as was indicated above in the thread, the difference between haste buffs is not so great that it makes a major difference in dps. Once you have any one haste buff on the tank merc or real tank you should be okay, as they do not stack like how the Bard overhaste does with Shaman/Enchanter haste.

Haste potions are also available at the potion vendors in POK - though sometimes the Bazaar prices for potions are cheaper than POK potion vendors, especially re the higher level ones.

A Shaman is a great support class if boxing also. I have three so that every permutation of classes I choose to play, have access to them in or out of group or as a pocket buff vendor. That is how important the class is to me. Its slowing and healing, buffs and underestimated dps (when he has the time if main healer), will make you enjoy boxing with it also.

Good ole Eyepatch of Plunder from the Velious days (self only though, not targetable).

Ah! I'd forgotten about that. Even helped a few people get that back in the day. Probably a few others (and I think there's some that trigger whilst fighting). I never did it because paladins already get a 25% self only haste spell.

In any case, I'll stick with "probably not worth spending the time/effort on". 50% haste potions are pretty cheap. Tons of buyable belts with 43% worn haste on them (both bazaar and with various expansion currencies from their respective merchants). Right there, you're almost at the cap for those two. The difference between potion+belt and <bestest haste spell in the game>+belt is just 7% (really 3.5% since this is on a 200% scale).

And yeah, I'm still not aware of any item that allows you to cast haste on another. So for your merc or pet, you kinda need to get someone else to buff them. Although, as mentioned above, I think all pet classes get some kind of pet haste spell methodology. I think anyway. Actually have never played a pet class (unless you count enchanter, which kinda doesn't count in this context for two reasons).
