downloading EQ at 10% as I type this...
Since the last update I posted I've gotten engaged, sold my house, blew up my computer while playing a different mmo (lost good stuff in the mail due to that lol).
I'm rooting for a new progression server. In the meantime I'm going to peek in game and do something. Not sure what.
What are other people up to? Let's rally the forum veterans and newbies alike!

They should seriously make old epic mobs spawn like once an hour or something. There's literally zero reason not to. The "challenge" should be taking down the mob, not waiting months for the mob to be up at the right time.

...It's been a long time for me in a weekend update is what I should have been clearer on.
Worst part of new computer so far is losing years worth of eqfiles I never deleted (like UI, maps, etc.) nor backed up. I do like the start screen with all the old art though.

No "new" updates to post. I have not been playing very much lately. Months ago, I "epiced" Mystro from our old Lunar Mutants guild. My 2nd Bard epic. Other than that, just the occasional log in to farm some older drops.
Well, I missed talking you guys so much I joined Insanity on fv.
I have been grouping and helping peeps out while moving Haam/sk from level 90 to 98.
Insanity is fun and while they have had a revolving door it seems on membership, I have been able to group with them at lest a couple times a week.
There seems to be level appropriate toons on most of the time.
I have attended two raids this last couple months, a couple upgrade items were offered up to haam and slaughter/blood/gore were had by all.

wow... you have been kinda busy
well done! (not this computer thing...) and nice to have this thread back!
nothing big has happened, but still - I met IG a very old friend. he did'nt know I am back and I did'nt know he's still around. so we hang together occasionally and have fun
second news is our guild merged with a big one. lots of new peeps around to get familiar and group with :)
and I have a baffling problem to solve: which pair is my main - necro/mage or SK/shammy... can't decide
Congrats snailish on so many things, engagement and being a winner of the anniversary contest. I still need to read through some of those.

I've been logging on a little bit lately. Not doing a whole lot, but I did delevel my Bst 3 levels down to barely 45 to see if KEI stuck. And it did. It must be lag or something if you try right after you level up from 44. As I noticed I kept showing 46 in Guild window for quite a while (until I zoned a few times. Just zoning to bind didn't catch it.
Done a few other things I don't remember, but the deleveling was a fun choir. I liked that I didn't lose any faction in Kelethin since I didn't kill anything. Guards are wimpy though. No buffs, no gear, back to them and still took several to take me down in 30sec or so.
That's about it in-game. Thinking about trying to level my 3rd account cleric up some more out of the 40s. Easy to get burnt though with the low dps.
