Has anyone else experienced an account ban since Feb. 3rd?Follow

HI all,

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced being banned from your account(s) since the announcement of the SOE merger with Daybreak?
I last successfully logged into and played both of my EQ accounts Tuesday. This morning when trying to login, it says I have been banned from my accounts...my wife is also having the same issue. She hasn't been on EQ since late January. There are no emails from SOE saying why we were banned or for how long. Something is going on here and I don't know if it's an isolated problem or widespread; but I cannot find any other posts or info about multiple instances of banned accounts for EQ for recent weeks.
I'm hoping it's just an issue with the Daybreak merger and not something more serious, like having been hacked (on our end)?

Please post in response to this thread if there more of you out there having similar issues like me!!!

Thanks.

I was able to login to Landmark earlier this morning, about 4 hours ago. I played awhile and logged off, now whenver I try to use my SOE account anywhere, it says I'm banned. No clue why, I didn't receive any emails. CS seems to be closed on weekends too. :(

Well...........It's not looking good at this point. It's been 8 days now and I am still banned from both of my accounts, as is my wife. Not a shred of explanation via email or otherwise.
With the recent hack and layoffs - I'd pretty much say that my EQ days are done. It's sad that it is ending this way for me, but I guess it's better than seeing EQ vanish overnight for everyone.
The boat seems to be taking on water and I'd rather not go down with the ship. Farewell EQ. Farewell all!!! It was years of fun and adventure...but all good things must come to an end. =/

Yeah, stinks to leave this way especially as it sounds like a screwup which a new owner would want to fix rather than lose a long-time customer (two of them, in fact.)

You could try contacting @SOEHelp via twitter or help.soe.com on their website to enter a ticket in (the twitter account will typically ask for your ticket number, so it's best to start there.)

They are now @DaybreakHelp however, it seems that most of their GMs got let go as well, so they significantly restricted the amount of things GMs will help with (e.g., accidentally deleted an in-game item? Go camp it again, they won't help.)

I know people have been doom and gloom for more than a decade, but this really does feel like the beginning of the end.
