spell research 86+Follow

#1 Jun 23 2014 at 5:11 PM Rating: Decent
I am looking for the recipes to do spell research for spells level 86 and higher. Is there a resource that lists all the available spells and the recipes? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Right here. Go to Database and then Recipes and you can select any spells you want to Research. Not sure if you need a premium account to see the mats required. Eqtraders.com also offers similar info, again you might have to be registered to see all the full recipes.

If you're premium here, you see the recipes and links to the full recipe page on the item pages as well. No the recipe search doesn't work if not premium, or at least it used to not to, if they've changed that. I still look stuff the old way with item search.

You shouldn't need to register to see anything at eqtraders, but will need to, in order to post / ask questions on the message boards. The boards are pretty deserted any more though.

Tradeskills have not been managed all that well by Sony devs. They do add new recipes, some darn nice ones, but then they cut the legs out from players who invest a lot of time and energy into raising their skills by moving the tradeskill products to NPC vendors. Not everything, of course. You can still make money making bags, potions, powersources, a few other things. I know I've made my share this way. But nowadays tradeskilling is just a minor side "hobby" where once upon a time in EQ players who liked that kind of thing devoted most of their game time to skillin' and made a good return for their time and energy.

But I'm getting off-topic now, which I'm prone to do... Smiley: blush

Thank you for the help. I went to find level 91 to 95 spells and did not find any for the spells I want to research. Does that mean there are no recipes for level 91 to 95 spells yet? I have orphic cards for that range.

You guessed it. Players who had deduced recipes find that the spell produced is 10 levels below the anticipated result. I understand that in a patch in June 2014 ONE Ranger spell was fixed. That is all at this time.

you best bet is to join the serverwide chat channel and ask in game.
