I would like to find out which quests I've done on the Alaris and HoT progressions but thanks to doing a zillion dailys since doing them they are not on my quest log any more. Is there any way to determine which quests I've done that were too far back to show up on the Quest Log?

Search your log for files for have been assigned for tasks, and shared tasks, which all from those zones should be. Note though, this only shows you tried them and doesn't show if you finished them or not.

There might be better search terms, but is what I've sinced DoN to find out what I've done when I've lost track.

Yther, If I did what I think you are suggesting. I went to my Logs directory in my Everquest directory to search for that text. Unfortunately all of those files are 1KB in size and have no useful info. Did I do the right thing?

Yea, you did the right thing. Unfortunately, you don't have /log on in-game to save the text from your chat windows to the log files. It was just an idea, that might have worked, had you had them turned on.

I guess the question why do you need to know?

if your doing quest lines for an item, then maybe you can check npc's to see if you are on what quest if that npc has more then one quest.

if these are for achements then they whould be on the /ach list as needed?

good luck

The only real problem with that Larth, is if you have grouped with others that have the preflags to request certain quests, you may have already done them, but the quest NPCs won't let you know, 'cause they say you need the prerequisites. With that said, without a log file or check list, that is the best way to go however!

Many quests or series of quests have check lists posted in the comments, and really long often have online check lists on specific guild websites. But without the Quest History or Log file or pre-worked on check list, you'll still be lost on what has been completed out of order.
