Returning from way back. F2PFollow

#1 Feb 28 2014 at 8:05 PM Rating: Good
I've looked and cannot seem to find the answer. I was a subscriber way back for years and coming back F2P to start. Is there a way to tell if I'm actually granted Silver?

If the account existed, as in you paid for 1 month of subscription... or even just paid for the game in a box (back when they did that) and gave you 30 days "free", your account would be in the system and be sitting their SILVER status just waiting for you to come back.

Depending on how long ago you left... your old server might have been merged off the list. For example, Rodcet Nife server makes no appearance on the login screen. It got merged with Quellious, which later got merged with Povar (if I am remembering right). Anyways, the point is your old characters are all still somewhere. You might just need to take the 30 minutes it takes to login to each server and see if you have a legacy there.

Old accounts will also potentially have veteran rewards, /claim and possibly loyalty points to use. Legends of Norrath cards and station cash might be there too... Even if you never used/accessed these features before.

In my view, it is worth gold for a month to play without the reminders to subscribe. Now that going gold gives you the AA autogrant... it's worth it (to me) for any old character coming back over level 65 to sub that account gold for a month. Just remember to log each character in, turn on the autogrant and log them in again to get it. Then even if you go silver again, you have the AA from the grant done. (if that is something you want).
