Think it's mostly 'cause there have been some good questions lately. Not alot of questions the past year or two, and prior to that, you'd get alot of generic opinion questions or theories about the game is failing that don't lead to much info, just anecdotes and personal preferences. Not that, that is completely worthless, it's just not in-depth and informative, but possibly interesting.

It could be also, like in my case my first posts were from 04/05 then nothing till 2012...im mostly a watcher and typically think my opinion no one cares about. So ive mostly kept to myself, and I like to read the info/stories. Then I decided to say ***** it im going to post more if I can contribute something, plus not to mention ive been playing a lot of EQ lately and its more interesting now. A lot of my friends quit in 06 I was just skimming over the guild roster of my "RL friends" guild, there were a lot of them but most haven't signed on since 06. So luckily a couple of guys from back in the day still play on my server and we still hang out, otherwise I may not be playing

I like to post here because I've always enjoyed and tried to support this site and, yes, we get some bright minds lurking here.
The Sony EQ forums are busier, have to admit, but I find them sometimes annoyingly frustrating. When devs post responses to customer questions/complaints, they're often such boilerplate waste of time it ruins my enjoyment of my gaming leisure time. Yeah, yeah, I know that spokerspersons need to be diplomatic, circumspect and non-committal (at least until higher-ups make the real decisions) but at least here we can get visceral frank opinions! Not that anything usually happens IRL pursuant to those opinions but it is nice to voice them, eh!?
