level 100 gear :: World of Warcraft

I have seen several people with level 100 gear, augs and weapons: on level 1 toons. Is there any point to this or they just want the gear that way they already have it at level 100.

I personally haven't seen it but I pretty much keep to myself and the my guild mates. I have heard some exploits with some bow that can be done so that your low level toon can use it....I just dismissed it cause im not really interested in stuff like that

the bow is true used it on my rogue. to me level 100 gear should be just that.

Sorry i didnt answer your original question. But i think you answered it yourself you had that bow on your level 1 rogue? so why did you want that bow on your level 1 rogue? the only answer i would think is to destroy mobs and level fast.

I'd assume that it's not really about the gear and its effect on leveling, but is just a way of showing off. Think about it, if you're actually seeing some other persons character with this gear and that character is still level 1, that player had to actual work fairly hard to *not* level that character yet so you could see it. If it was really just about being able to level faster, the character wouldn't still be level 1. He'd, you know... be out leveling the character super fast with his uber gear, right? Only reason to not level is to show off the level 1 character with the level 100 gear. Novelty.
