Is there a way to sort the wizard spells to only show me port spells? I PL'd a wizzy up to help with transportation, but some of these port spells have some really wierd names and I know I'm missing several.

Right-click an empty spell gem.
Those categories do exactly what you desire. Under 'Transport' are all your port spells. Figuring out which spell is which is only necessary for the Kunark evac spells (Markars & Tishan's Relocation). All the other spells are named for the zones they teleport to. So you go Transport -> Continent/Area (Kunark, Luclin, Planes, etc) and then pick the zone you're looking for. About the only way to be confused is with the evac spells. What you have to remember is that your Ro Portal spell goes to NORTH Ro but your Evacuate Ro spell goes to SOUTH Ro.
If you're missing several port spells, go to the Wizard vendors in PoK and take a look. If you don't have a spell, it'll show up in the list (and it won't if you already have it, unless you check the 'Show All' box).

Sort where? Are you talking about in-game looking at a spell vendor? Or the spell lists on this site? If the latter, do a search for wizard spells, 1st level and higher, with the word "port" in the search field. Should get you what you want.

As far as I know, there is no way of sorting the spells by type.. But the icons or spell gem symbols are similar with subtle differences for Gate spells vs Translocation spells vs Port spells. While evac spells have a unique though similar look also.
I would just scroll down the Wiz spell section on this site and write down which ones you need on a scrap of paper. Because of the symbols they are easily identified while glancing through the wizard line up via level.

EDIT: To go further with gbaji concept than what I did here, look up any single spell of the same type you're looking for and search for the key word(s) in the spell affect. Take O'Keil's Radiation for example, shows:
1: Increase Damage Shield by 2
2: Increase Fire Resist by 6 (L2) to 10 (L10)
To find similar DS, search for "Increase Damage Shield" which gives for Wizards: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spelllist.html?name=Increase+Damage+Shield&type=wiz&level=1&opt=And+Higher&action=search

Oh. And "North Gate/Portal/Evac" takes you to North Karana.
The spells come with in game descriptions now, so you can check what it does (but you have to load the spell first, or locate it in your spell book). As far as Tishan's and Markar's, I always remembered then with the mnemonic:
Markar's goes to Emerald Jungle.
Tishan's goes to Skyfire Mountains.
As long as you remember that one goes to Emerald Jungle and the other to Skyfire Mountains, it's easy to associate the starting letter/sound of the zones with the spell that contains that letter. Assuming you're starting with where you want to go, this is actually pretty easy. One of the spells has an M, and one has an S. Easy.

Sorry I was away for a few days and couldn't update my question.
I was asking about sorting the port spells on Allakhazam. Some spells don't have "port" in their name so I was having problems finding a list of the all of the port spells that were available.

in the past I just look for the blue icon pictures on the Allakhazam site since their is no single seach word that i found.

My druid is only 55, and I am a newb to port classes...
But I think "ring" "circle" "zephyr" "succor" and (for wiz?) "translocate" would yield many of the port spells in a search?

Use port to get the gate (self-only), evac, and portal (group) spells. Use translocate to get the translocate (single-target) ones.
For druids, use port to get the ring (self-only), evac, and circle (group) spells. use zephyr or translocate to get the zephyr (single-target) ones.
