The words faction, lore, and nerf have slipped into my working vocabulary. I don't even realize I've used them in a context the average non-gamer doesn't understand until I notice the odd looks on their faces.

Have a coach that writes the SAW blitz on the board, only uses a lower case "a", so it ends up looking like SOW...so in my head I am like , of course we want sow, its the best spell in the game...

Whenever a store is really busy or something, it's "Camped".

Like "Why are so many people camped outside the apple store today"?
or "At lunch, that place is always camped!"

Camp has become a common word for me to use instead of busy~

One time at a party I had to help a friend, who is also an EQ gamer, find a woman in the room he had never met before. I told him "Just look for the blonde high elf." He found her straight away in a room of over 100 people. It wasn't the ears that was the giveaway, it was the haughty demeanor. LOL

I work in a service industry where government policies impact the results on occasion. I work with a large entertainment conglomerate. The cluelessness of people responsible for the entertainment of millions baffles me at times. There have been many occasions when I've wished I could force choke people. The idea actually sits in my mind for up to a minute (sometimes, my hand even comes up to simulate it).

This is going to sound bad but I associate any poorly thought out idea as possibly coming from the EQLive team. For example, a gay oriented cable channel sending two crews to Sochi for the Winter Olympics. "Who thought this was a good idea? They must moonlight on the EQLive team." My friend (who played EQ years and years ago, quitting during the GoD fiasco) built his nephew a treehouse but forgot to put a door in and didn't realize it until it was being reassembled in the tree. I told him he should apply to work on the EQ team and he immediately knew what I was talking about. (I should note that I don't necessarily dislike the EQLive team. I equate them to being similar to a big city social worker. Something is always going to fall through the cracks (sometimes with disastrous results) when your caseload is overloaded to such a ridiculous degree)

On a hunting trip a month ago, a friend missed his target (bowhunting) and I actually said (in a loud whisper), "SNARE! SNARE! Somebody snare it!"
