Mystro was born on the poor side of Shar Vahl. Even from early childhood, he knew something was different about him. He had no interest in the things others from his area were doing. What was his path in life to be? One morning while strolling about Shar Vahl, he heard magical sounds wafting down from the roof of the palace. He had to investigate. He climbed to the top of the palace and found the sounds were emanating from the Bards guild. Further investigation led him to apply to join the guild. The guildmaster sent him on small but frustrating tasks to prove his worth. He was to hunt in the pit surrounding Shar Vahl and gather many items. Success brought a sense of self pride to the youngster as nothing else had done prior to this. He obtained a drum Jharin Recruit (Bard #2, then a lute Jharin Apprentice (Bard #3) then went in search of a sonic wolf pup and a sonic wolfling to obtain 2 Young Sonic Wolf Jawbone. This task has proved difficult so Mystro has also checked with older more experienced Bards and discovered he must find other young Vah Shir to cooperate in completing his future tasks.

Having left his poor surroundings for the palace, now poor Mystro must return to his beginnings. Return to surroundings he swore were behind him. So with cap in hand he went back to consult with the darker side of his family. Explaining what he needed to them, they suggested he speak with his shady cousin Klehpto. Little was known about this family character other than he was a member of the mysterious Rogue guild in the depths of Shar Vahl.

Mystro did as suggested and consulted with his cousin. Klehpto informed him that he was also working on a series of tasks assigned by his guildmaster. His current one was Taruun Recruit (Rogue #2). Klehpto is slightly younger than Mystro so has yet to progress to the higher level tasks but promised that he would stay in close contact with Mystro in the completion of the Vah Shir tasks. Blood is blood after all. So begins the journey of Klehpto, cousin of Mystro and a proud Taruun. Details of his activities have been and will be cloaked in a shadowy mist. Taruuns are a bit non-committal about their day to day business it seems.

Mystro feels a bit ashamed that he had to request help from a character like Klehpto, but his first and foremost goal was to please his guildmaster, complete his tasks and become a renowned member of the Shar Vahl community. As such he is returning to Holloshade Moor to continue his many tasks. Officer of the Vah Shir. That sound rings in the youngster's sensitive ears. Some day.............

/OOC Dang, I wish I could spell it correct the first time.

EDIT: Mystro ran into yet another relative today. His name in Uinseann a Vah Shir Warrior. Alas, Uinseann has forsaken the path of the Mutants for the path of the Defiant. He will contribute to the Vah Shir ongoing quests, but has chosen to forge a powerful goal by following the Hero's Journey via the yet to be discovered (during the Luclin era) city of Crescent Reach.

Already removed all the Bard and Rogue items, there were two duplicate Rogue items.

Must have been something put in after the first was removed since the GBank doesn't let you put in multiple Lore items. No real way to prevent that (that I can think of) and I suppose one day we'll just clean everything out that no one specifically requests.

Yup. where do you get your info on the items. On one chart linked in a thread here, a Rogue mark wasn't even listed, but when I looked it up here on Alla, it was there. Also some of the recipes on that link seem to be wrong. Is there a definitive TS Armor link?

PS Thank all of you doing the farming!!

I did the most of the marks based off the Zam wiki list (since I could arrange it alphabetically) but most of it I just type the item name into the search. A little tedious but not so bad if you're only doing them ten at a time vs. fifty items in one fell swoop.

Thanks to everyone who has been sorting this stuff (Twilight sea armor quest). The devs went way overboard programming this with so many unique drops.

Once we are hitting 50s Luclin zones with tradable drops the appeal of Twilight armor will vanish for most/all. So pretty much once we are guild-banking twilight-quality or better items I think it will be clean-out time.

The problem with the twilight armor is that even back when the content was new it was not worth doing. Only because you guys are deliberately limiting yourself to lunar content is it even remotely part of any upgrade path. You could get better or equivalent stuff from Kunark/Velious with less difficulty and time than the twilight stuff. I just remember looking at those quests and then seeing the rewards and not seeing any reason at all to bother.

Which is a shame. A case where they itemized linearly within the expansion, but really didn't take anything outside it into account. Not sure what they were thinking.

No one is tricking themselves into thinking it's "good" even from a c.2001 perspective. But it's good from a "This Fungoid armor would use an upgrade" perspective and that's what counts for us.

That said, the reitemization of the drop mobs has helped a ton. Getting 6-8 drops per mob sure beats hunting for the one An Ecstatic Lightcrawler for a single Mark of the Delighted.
