Joph,
There may be some usable info on their boards...

That is an amazing guide. My druid is my most advanced tradeskiller having at least 150 in all skills. My other toons only have 1 or 2 tradeskills to speak of. Corwinne's guide is amazing i will be using that this week for sure. I cant wait to start to dig into it. Thank you for sharing Alwayslost :)

You've already got the Guide but on Spell Research specifically I recently did Spell Research (to 200 anyway) for an Epic prequest and I found this to work fine:

http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/showthread.php?33385-Complete-Tradeskill-Guide-6-1-%28Serverwide-Drop-Edition%29-Rev-Apr-2009&p=227571&viewfull=1#post227571

I had saved all the Binding Powers and vendored all the Hides so I ignored all the Hide based combines and just did the Binding powder ones like:

58 Crude Enchanted Spell Parchment
80 Crude Scroll of Pestilence

You combine all your Crude Binding Powders with the summoned item (you can buy the spell in the PoK) and then you make the "Scroll of Pestilence". Then move onto the next pair like:

83 Makeshift Enchanted Spell Parchment
106 Makeshift Scroll of Pestilence

And so on. If you have the Hides too, use them.

Tradeskill info is "out there" but you do have to do some searching. Even Google is your friend here. It took me a while to figure out how to get RESEARCH skill above 200 as a priest class but it's doable and not that hard, as long as you can locate (buy or pharm) the needed components.

Also, have to admit, investing in DRAUGHT OF THE CRAFTSMAN (2-hours buff against component loss, available from the Marketplace) saves you tons of clicking---and grief. Yeah, it's expensive at $10 IRL but use a Walmart card and buy Station Cash during Triple-cash offers and you get 2 hours for $2.50 and that investment pays you back easily just in salvaged components and time/aggravation.
