The new loading screen imagery for Call of the Forsaken is pretty good. Granted I am partial to bixies so all the honeycomb stuff cracks me up. The main image though... makes me think "goth Dragon with really bad case of pinkeye" (I know it's supposed to be weird veils or something).

I don't have the know how to post pics, but I think my all-time favourite loading screen image (Keeping in mind I missed the classic era by a bit) was the GoD (or was it OoW???) one with the bulky guys with the glowing tattoos... the subjugated stoneworkers (thanks nek)

What expac art for the loading screen did you like best?

The Stoneworker models?

I think my favourite was the one of Firona Vie in that skimpy outfit. >:-D

I mentioned last night that I have no idea what the lore is behind the dragon in the new splash screen and don't care, but it LOOKS as thought he just flew through someone's laundry line and has a bed sheet on his face.

Google search: https://www.google.com/search?q=everquest+expansion+loading+image&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=mIJXUpipOoaayQHjt4GoCg&ved=0CCkQsAQ&biw=1536&bih=724&dpr=1.25 shows quite a few, but not organized or anything.

I like the new character selection background, but miss some stone work for the bigger / sturdier (dwarves) races, and neon lights would be nice for the dark elves. But oh well! The trees and fire are nice anyway!

Best character background was the Luclin one. Each archetype had their own little area and you could actually run around in it and explore a little. Melee types had training dummies and targets, bards had a stage with seats before it and a little backstage area, priests had various altars, etc. It was pointless but fun.
