Attempting to log in and keep getting "There was an error completing your request. Please try again".
There have also been situations where logging in will show 0 of 19 expansions, Silver or Free account status.
This has been happening off and on for almost a month, and several people I know have sent feedbacks and bug reports about it.

Sure am happy to see the new armor ornaments though. Keep up the good work.

Although I read most stuff here, I'm not part of Sony or Allakhazam, so you might try https://forums.station.sony.com/eq/index.php if you want someone from Sony to see it. They don't usually come here and read these forums. Also, you may find some similar threads about the patcher in the Support forums, as there have a been a few problems recently.

Yea, seeing a few complaints in general this moment too. Getting logged in, but rolled back to level 50 and bronze status. Same problem as before. Never even noticed, but happened to me too. I thought Silver got 10 bag slots.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I was in game about to do the final turn in for the Planar Traveler's Manual when my system crashed. When I tried to reboot, I saw a blue screen flash for a split second and the system shut down and rebooted. This was an endless cycle, could not even boot into safe mode. Being a techie, I grabbed a Linux recovery CD, booted to it and ran a disk check which found many corrupted files. After repair, system is running fine, but lost another hour out of my life. This is the second time this has happened in the last 3 months. Had I been a computer novice, it would have meant a recovery to factory fresh or a trip to the computer store. All of the corrupted files were in the EQ directory. No other program has caused this, and HD diags say all is well after the two fixes........

Almost every darn weekend.... 3rd time now. Sheesh... Silver does get 10 bag slots. Last time this happened, I had to wait for their fix before the slots came back. Maybe they shouldn't leave the cleaning staff in charge of the systems.... Smiley: grin

I used to keep EQ on a separate FAT32 partition just in case of such problems to keep them from killing the OS and boot mechanisms. I don't any more, but I don't play that much so crashes are pretty unlikely any more, due to EQ.

First time EQ corrupted itself on an NTFS partition, it took me a couple of hours to get it completely fixed. On a FAT32, when separate from the OS, generally a few minutes, plus patching time to scan and replace all the bad files.

Good idea, but I play on a laptop. Although the laptop has a second bay for another HD, I have as yet not been able to get any brand to be recognized. I have tried 3 different connectors (HP are a PITA when it comes to being proprietary....)

USB flash drive might work. I see alot of people using them any more. Then you can play pretty much everywhere with you're own INI files. :)

And yea on proprietary anything, but HPs fall in that category too. :(

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks back where my account was reduced to a silver account (it's been gold "forever") and my main to level 50 (he's 100) AND my skills were all re-set to zero. As with most players, this "fixed itself" overnight and when I rebooted and reloaded the client the next day. However, ALL MY SPECIALIZATION SKILLS remained reduced. Now this isn't that big a deal and they level up very rapidly just casting spells. But I did have to be sure that my chosen "specialty" skill leveled up first so it could hit the one-skill max. I didn't think it was worth the time and effort to get a GM to fix for me manually since nothing else was "broken" on my toon.

But.... aggravating? Yeah, I'd say so. I feel everybody's pain here, no doubt...
