About pets equiping items :: World of Warcraft

I have done some searching around google and have come up with multiple answers. Does anybody know how pets and attuneable gear works? I have heard it poofs when you zone, I have heard it poofs when you log, others say it does not poof at all.

I've heard some conflicting claims also, but most seem to say that "non visible" attunable gear poofs when you log or zone, while the weapons and visible armor slots do not.(Necro and Mage class sites confer this).

That Necro site states: "Summoned items such as pet gear is TEMPORARY and NO-BANK. This means you cannot place any summoned item in any bank slot, and any summoned items on your person will vanish after you have been logged out of EQ for 30 minutes." I was given some high level Mage summoned swords about two weeks ago. I gave them to my Beastlord pet and from then on his attack messages stated "Your pet slashed etc. not clawed. This lasted until a server crash that also dumped the pet.

you CAN, however, put the mage-summoned toys in a player house, and they do not poof. So have the mage load up a bunch there, and then the alts can go grab it whenever they need it.

This works great for everything except the summoned jewelry (Nastel's, etc). For some reason, these are LORE, so you can only have on set in the house.
