I wouldn't lie.....the screenshows I watched are amazing man !

I saw that froglok by the aquarium haha Smiley: lol. And I like the Gazebo in the tree with the walkway to get to it.. Nice scenery and views.

Even after eight years playing, I never even bought a house or plot of land as I know it requires a lot of time (that I dont have as I used to) but after seeing what you could do (customizing wise), I might just take a weekend off of the grind and create my own little Hexeez Street. Besides, I need bank space cleared of old relics I dont want to destroy.

I have one question .. What kind of plat do you think it will cost to purchase and outfit a large house and plot of land ?

It looks like a whole other dimension to the game I've hardly touched on........As yet.

Thanks Hexeez,
Actually not that much plat. Furniture doesn't cost much but the crafting tables do. If you avoid the crafting tables you can get by with less the 10k plat and make a nice looking house. Only problem is Trial and Error, you can waste a lot of plat figuring things out the way you want. Big thing is to think outside the box.... example a sword handle can make a cool looking jar, bottle or container. A chair turned on its side makes the hour marks on a clock. A table sunk into the floor makes a carpet. Then there is the trouble of making sure things don’t stick out the other end of another room.
You can avoid buying items from the Marketplace.. It can be a lot easier and a space saver by buying the already made fireplace but you can make a better one using furniture in different ways and torches to make the flames.
You will start looking at loot first if it is "placeable" or not then what stats it has (lol).
Check the lots out before you buy there are 3 different sizes. I would suggest the lot with the most space (90) because you can use up those spaces fast, but those 90 space lots cost more in daily taxes. Houses you can get the biggest house RENT FREE with loyalty tokens. Make sure it has 300 total spaces and 200 of those spaces are any item storage. Add a 500 space crate that takes up just one space in your property adding 500 “placeable” to your 300 house spaces and 90 lot spaces for a 890 space bank.
You can also buy crafting tables (10k+) to use to craft and will be able to access the 200 any item house storage as a stockroom.
Have fun, but it can become addicting. Check out other houses on your server before you start buying stuff. You can make a level one toon on all the other servers and tour those houses to get ideas.

Thanks Vinney for the tips and insight.

Yes ,somewhere in one of your past posts, I saw you cleverly used the "charisma" Steins for coffee cups on a table, and they looked really authentic. No one would know they were primary/secondary slot items..lol.

I know it is addictive but so is EQ in general (and I,ve been hooked since I started in 2005) so no issue there for me. I also gave up on trying to be at max level etc as I'm taking it slower now to enjoy the flowers on a permanent basis. This will give me more time for other non combat aspects of the game.

The loyalty vendor houses sound good to me as I have thousands of unused loyalty crowns accumulating and that would be a perfect way to spend them..

890 spaces is just what the doctor ordered for my bank space woes ..Bigger is definately better in this case.

Thanks again for the information. Before I embark on the housing I might send my naked level 2 bazaar scout on Zek to visit your real estate spread after the double xp weekend.Smiley: smile

Thanks again.
