Beginner Cleric AA's??Follow

#1 Sep 21 2012 at 9:28 AM Rating: Decent
I have my family power leveling my Cleric at the moment. Very soon ill be able to do some AA's and i wanted to know what are some of the AA's that are a MUST HAVE. I tried looking up for some but most of them are from like 2008 to 2010 and i figured those are kind of irrelevant with the past expansion or 2. The article i am looking at now is "http://almarsguides.com/eq/general/aaplacement.cfm". Should i continue to use these guide or are there more that i should invest in right away. Anything would be helpful!

Thanks

If they were covering beginner AAs, then it hasn't changed much, if at all, since PoP era. The one exception that comes to mind is Run Speed AAs, if you already have a 50% run speed clicky, like Fabled J-Boots, since you can click them anywhere now. Most newer AAs, are also higher level required, and may have prerequisite AA requirements, so you'll have to wait on those a bit.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/preList.m?topic_id=185273&post_id=2791034 is a good starter guide for every class, and you continue using almar's guides.

Well, it depends what you mean by "power levelling". If you've got multiple people helping (you mention "family"), and with the early AA XP boost (500% faster AA's to start), frankly, I'd just get all AA's as they are available. It will go so fast it will be just silly, so just get them done.

I haven't played in almost a year now, but I was PL'ing some alts on a 2nd account, and found that I could get dozens of AA/hour with just one higher level toon helping out. I did skip the truly worthless AA's (stat increase AA's... NOT the stat CAP increase AA's, those are useful), But you'll rack up AA's so quick, honestly, just get everything you think you'll want, as soon as they are offered. Another advantage with this approach, is you can get the AA's in lower level zones, where the helpers will be more over-powered, and the XP will go that much quicker. Remember to get the XP from red/yellow mobs that are within 5 levels of you, and use your daily lesson!

Obviously, for non-power-levelling situations, this would not necessarily apply.

PS - Nadox was my favorite PL spot. Use a DS class to pull, and just use an AoE spell to tag the mobs with the cleric.

so ur saying that you can get so many AA's so easily now, you pretty much can just do them all? haha i see that a lot of poeple are over the 1000's now a days. Are there any MUST have AA's i should get that are specifically for a cleric/caster, other then the general ones like Innate speed and stuff.

Yes get the heal aa's.
then get the persistent casting aa and silent casting. Dont forget combat stability and agility as well.
