Devs and (SOE) EQ staff....please read this thread !!!Follow

This is to hopefully start a following by the EQ community. Please post comments or replies to this thread...make our voice HEARD!!!

To start this thread, I'd like to just say this: I know SOE is trying to keep EQ innovative and fresh for old and new players - but couldn't you focus more time / effort on fixing broken Epic quests, TS issues, and the general well-being of what makes EQ, EQ? Quit spending months and our subscription money trying to invent new "crap" to justify paying for new expansion costs. It's just plain irresponsible to whip out an expansion every 12 months and let the last expansion run into /bugs, problems and broken quests and sweep them under the rug.

***Please post your thoughts and comments below....let's get SOE to work on "fixing" exsisting EQ problems, not building new ones =)

SOE doesn't read these forums. If you want to have your voice heard, you should do it in a place where it will be seen by them.

By the way, the above message has no details and specifics and provides no information what so ever. What epic quest is broken, and how is it broken? Did you /bug it in game? What TS issues are there? What general well being are you referring to? What bugs, problems and broken quests do you want to see addressed?

Just saying things are broken, fix them is meaningless.

I have never had SOE 'not' respond to /bug or any other contact I have attempted with them.
Since 2003 I have helped many peeps get a number of epics...and countless other quests.
In my personal experience, SOE never fails to respond and repair, if this weren't the case, I would not continue to subscribe.

Would anybody?

I am sure that there must be any number of old quests, say...non-essential to progression, that were never fixed or maintained...but epics?

If the epic quests are bugged or broken, how is it so many of us have them?

Hell I am aware of quests that have been in the game for years and have never been solved or completed, but that doesn't mean they are broken...or does it?

I have had multiple people work on my cleric's 2.0 for the past 2 years. For several hours at a time. And I have not once seen https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=31221 drop. No matter how many hours I've spent wiping the whole zone, not once has it dropped. So, to me, it is broken. I cannot progress until I get that piece. Otherwise, I'm stuck at that point indefinitely.

MissJ,
I feel for you, it is definitely not a common drop. It does drop though as many with their 2.0 can attest to.
