When you have combat stability and combat agility maxed at 95, what is the actual % of each?

Thanks for the info.

Hello,

CS AA ranks 1=2%,2=5%,3=10%,rank 4 thru 8=1% ea rank, ranks 9 thru 43 =0.5% per rank (last 20 ranks not proven but believed to be at .5%) =

Total maxed CS = 39.5%

CA similar cost/gain ratio except 2 additional ranks at .5% each = Total maxed CA= 40.5%

They both give diminishing returns (aa cost vs % gain) as the ranks increases in cost while their gain levels off at 0.5% per rank till maxed at lvl 95.

If your a tank/hybrid tank class or you tank with a dps class they all become important (despite the diminishing returns) along with Physical Enhancement AA.

Good luck and enjoy.

Very nice. I knew there were parses for the older ones, but didn't realize there were estimates for the higher ones. You happen to have a link to the source info or parses, and I'll add both the info and link to the AA pages. I had planned on doing that for alot of AAs after I finished up all the pages, but of course, I'm still not finished with them.

Thanks Yther,

I'm not 100% sure if the numbers are accurate as there is contradictions and debate as to what the numbers currently are. For instance, in the character AA window (in game) the description for Combat Agility AA line is: "The first three ranks of this ability increases your melee damage avoidance by 2,5 and 10 percent. Additional ranks further increase this effect." This I interpret to mean 2+5+10%=17% total for the first three ranks(I may be incorrect and it may be 2+3+5%=10% for the first three ranks).

This oldish thread from the Warrior class site indicates the latter (for the first three ranks) up to the eighteenth rank :

http://www.thesteelwarrior.org/forum/showthread.php?t=16816

Though I want to believe the in game description of the first three ranks are accurate as worded which would add up to 17% for the first three ranks though the Steelwarrior links information indicates 2,3,5% for 10% only..

This thread below is around SOD launch from the SK class site:

http://www.evilgamer.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4471

It gives the mods of CA/CS up to the 23rd rank (SOD) and its interpretation is also different in some of the ranks. So there is some ambiguity on the actual numbers. The mods also reflect no gain less than 1% on any rank. The thread also interprets numbers of 3% per rank(ranks 4-8) as opposed to 1% (4 thru 8) on the Steel Warrior site.

I haven't seen any actual numbers or parses on anything after SOD expansions CA/CS AA's. Only discussions on what many percieve them to be. One thing I've also noticed is that most other EQ type sites threads on the subject seem to cite info from the Warrior and SK class sites on this, probably for good reason as mitigation/avoidance is their bread and butter lol.

I'm not too sure if I could vouch to put up the numbers as concrete but hopefully you could get enough information from the threads and your previous knowledge to make an accurate accessment

Good luck and thanks for your monumental efforts with the AA pages.Smiley: smile

Cool. Yea, I didn't think they would have concrete parses for all the ranks, as there are so many things (just skills such as dodge alone) would make it hard to calculate. However, as far as the 2, 5, 10, every place I've seen has interpreted those totals, for every AA line listed like that. The spell crit lines are listed similarly as percentages and shown in parses to be that way.

However, I could see it being different now-a-days than it once was, as the spell crit lines were bugged a while back (1 or 2 years ago, iirc) and weren't giving what they stated, and they've done some major changes over the years in the combat system. Although, the addition of mod2s back in around 2003 or 2004 seemed like the last really big change. And I think a developer once confirmed one of the AA lines as being totals in description, but I can't remember for sure or not. Oh, the Natural Durability is 2, 5, and 10% and buying them unbuffed, you can confirm that's the difference they give (2, 3, and 5% at each rank for totals of 2, 5, and 10).

Well, thanks again. I'll look the links up later and get the info on the AA pages, so I'll at least have a template on how to make the other AA pages look, that will have parsing info.
