Hi all. I am returning to the game after many years of being away. I started a cleric on Luclin but the server is rather dead. Maybe they all are. Anyone have an idea of what server is relatively well populated. I play most evenings from 6 to 9 Pacific and will be focusing on Cleric.

Welcome back,

Of all the standard ruleset servers Luclin/Stromm has one of the strongest populations EST timezone. But like most standard rules servers it is top heavy. Greater than 75% of the characters are in the level 80-95 range..This top heavy curve is similar on all standard rules servers.

Fippy and Vulak are progression servers and "Fippy" server in particular has a strong population. I'M not sure at which expansion they have unlocked at this point though.

Zek is PVP and has a low population. Firiona Vie is the roleplaying (loosely applied nowadays) server with many no trade items as tradeable. FV also has a 50% xp bonus and has experienced a bit of a renaissance from what I've heard, though you cannot transfer off of FV.

Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like I will be sticking on Luclin for now. Hopefully I can find a different guild. I got recruited while in the newbie area by a guild but looking at it there are only 5 active players. The guild has more then 140 players but most haven't played since 2009.

There are definately larger and more active guilds on Luclin.

FV is fun, but a one-way trip.

Hexeez posted so much brilliance I have nothing more to add.

It is a relatively simple matter to create a toon on different servers and wander into the guild hall. Check the list of want adds to see what time zone guilds are listing or just do an ooc to get an idea of the population.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know there were want adds available and posted. I will check that out tonight after I finish the armor quest I am on.
