Is there some kind of full list of them somewhere? I can't seem to find any...except for the ones that would completely own me if I tried to solo them.

I don't think you do have to have premium to do a search in the beastiary. (I just logged out and was able to go to the beastiary and run the search for "fabled").

HERE is the link to the page that bbot got the info from...it's also got the zones listed.

Remember fableds are generally underconned, but they seem to spawn pretty readily.

Anyone found any Fabled mobs in AC yet?

There is a fabled chain for the Ward of Life and Death (Fabled Ward of Life, Fabled Ward of Death) which are part of the Khati Sha script. They drop the loot, not Khati Sha. Khati spawns as normal, though, not Fabled. Take him out anyways. :)

There is a current issue - the wards respawn with the same timers as the trash in the zone, so raids can just sit there and actively farm 300+ hp loot for as long as they can avoid boredom.

It was posted on the EQLive boards, so I imagine this will be fixed with the next patch.

Details on triggering this event are rather sketchy? Do you have to do the mini-battles in GF?

Thanks for the list!

Btw, what do you have to do to get these things to spawn? I have checked for 5 of these creatues in their respective zones last night; either they weren't anywhere to be found, or the non-fabled version was in it's place.

Makes me think they spawn even more rarely then the non-fabled versions, even at this time of year. I think I'm confused.

If anyone knows; thanks for sharing some info.

You kill the non-fabled version or its placeholder and hope that the next spawn is the Fabled one...

No mini battles in GF are needed. Everything happens in Inner AC.

All you need to do is:

1. Kill all the grimlings (8 of them) in the jail where the 2 (male and female) Vah Shir prisoners are.
2. Clear this room of all mobs (there is 1 grimling spawn between the jail cages). Send another force up to the 2nd floor where the "a sacrificial cauldron" is. Wipe everything in this room.
3. Have one force in the jail area to take on the Ward of Life, and another in the sacrifical cauldron room to take on the Ward of Death (the Ward of Death is the only one that spawns Fabled that I saw).
4. Hail the female Vah Shir and follow her script text.
5. Once you trigger the script (i think the text was "I am ready for your spell"), three grimling "a spell jammer" spawn in the each jail cell with the Vah Shir - they prevent the Vah Shir from completing their spell. Kill all of them, and keep them killed.
6. The Ward of Life pops between the jail cells - not attackable (conned blue to a 71 RNG).
7. The Ward of Death (Fabled Ward, now, cons red to 71 RNG) simultaneously pops in the sacrificial cauldron room on the N side near a mirror/wall hanging.
8. Every 30 seconds or so a grimling will spawn in the (SE?) corner and walk towards the cauldron. If he makes it to the cauldron, then the wards (I believe it was) get CHealed. You'll need good DPS, they walk relatively quickly).
9. Drop another force on the Ward of Death. Kill him while you also kill the sacrifices.

That's about as far as I've gotten. From other places on the net (here, Shaman's Crucible, Graffe's, etc.) you're supposed to kill the Ward of Death, THEN the Ward of Life after wiping all the spawning skeletons/spell jammers/grimling elites in the cauldron room. Once the wards are dead, you move on to the Spirit Ring room where there are two Vah Shir "a spiritual arcanists" - one near a door, the other in a red circle.

AFAIK, you have to choose one to 'free' - and if you choose the wrong one, the rest of the script to trigger/spawn Khati Sha doesn't take place.

More info on that part here: http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=15056

I popped the Fabled Ward of Death/Ward of Life and had the spell jammers spawn - I personally couldn't go farther than that as I was only boxing my 71RNG and my wife's 71DRU - need a bigger force than that! =)

Other info here (overall):

Once a year during the anniversary celebrations. I want to say that happens in March? But someone else should probably chime in.

Mid April till whenever. Usually mid March for the mobs. They've been extending it for some of the quests though the past few years.
