The last week was the best ever in my Everquest-career:

Thu:
- Did 2 LDoNs and got the 10th win in Mistmoore; first increase of stats on my Adventurer's Stone!
- Dinged 36 on my Beastlord; never been this high with any other character!
- After nearly 5 years in EQ, i finally joined a guild! For the very first time, the thoughts of getting an epic and participating in a raid are not completely unrealistic... A big "thank you" for the invite to Mistyeyes of Storm of the Gods on Xegony server. Smiley: bowdown

Fri-Sun: No EQ except for 20 minutes of hunting in The Overthere.

fun weekend here.

started slipgears quest on Friday. picked the rogue shroud, and started exploring. great tunes and nice looking zones indeed. died twice (both times a see invis mob at the orc chamber in the hive), but managed to finish the other 3 zones. very very exciting and scary feeling, when exploring zones packed with high level mobs, which (as I found out in the hive) can hit up to 900...

Sunday, got lucky in the bazaar, found a Belt of Thunderous Auras for 16 k. Guess my Wizzi will like it Smiley: grin

Actually, I couldn't play 2 of those 5 years (system specs), and I was soloing most of the time, using only the gear that dropped... my beastlord is my main now, but got 3 other toons in the twenties and several more lowbies... was never able to focus on one toon Smiley: smile

Grats on 36 Bbot!

Got my third AA point and promptly dumped it into runspeed 3/3. Now that it is maxed out I can notice a difference in Fordd's running speed. It's not much but every little bit helps!

Been getting EXP in Velk's Lab. Very neat zone though I haven't made it past the main entrance. Re-pop time is quick plus the mobs are numerous. It's a good zone for a chanter to get some serious exp till level 60.

Going to work on level 56 this week and try to resist the tempation for fairly quick AA point exp in Velks. Innate regen and Innate metabolism are looking really nice right now...

Can't figure out why I get disconnected when trying an instanced zone (LDON, MM, GoD, etc...). Game just locks up when I try them.

I spent most of my weekend farming low quality pelts and spiderling silk for blacksmithing. I did manage to log on my shammy and level him to 37 finally.

Lets see, in a nutshell..

Finally dinged 60 on my Paladin. Man the 50's are rough on Melee's.
Played my baby War, got him to 35, picked up a pair of Journeyman's Boots, got real lucky on spawns.

pretty fun weekend.

Gratz to the folks who dinged. Nothing but exp grind here, mainly Nobles Causeway. Got a ding and a ping. Missed the guild raids since I had RL commitments.

Dinged 57 on cleric, found group heal for 50pp in the bazaar, usually 2K or more, woot!

Killed a bunch of beastlord epic mobs for a couple guildies.

What's with all the necro-posting today?

Weekend was good. most notably 2 more scouts down (Thanks Aude!!) for my BL epic. only have the Lfay scout left on that portion. i keep trying to solo the robed guys in ME for the Gem of the Void but its a no go. also tried to solo the Deep and the Grey portions but i guess im just to low of a level. looks like ill be trying to con the guildies into running over there with me (eyes the Aude crew). =)

I also spent some time soloing in AC for runes and Acrylia. found out that the little buggers like to dispell my KEI and Virt when they are in the first 2 slots. time to junk buff now befor i head back down there.

Lets see...good weekend over all.

Friday - Helped a druid friend get through his first fight for his epic. Did a couple of monster missions and then started on the "simple" parts of the pally 1.5.

Saturday - Dinged 59 on my wizard. Gawd, I hate the 50 levels...so slow. Spent some time in WoS and Harbingers. On a MM, A friend (67 warrior) noticed he was getting 15% XP while my ranger got 8% to 10% (she was 54 at the time). Any ideas on why?

Sunday - Ding 55 for my ranger. Helped get a friend almost to 69 on his ranger. Was about to go on a raid to Fear to help a friend get his shammy epic drop when we found out all the golems were camping right on CT...they called it off for the day. Not enough folks to take that or split them.

That's how they work...higher level will yield more XP.

It's amazing I feel like I have abandoned the cause after two weeks of being EQ free.

That's the holidays time for me though. Should be able to binge after Thanksgiving some.

Friday Had courtin on and joined a pick up raid to the hole for the shaman drop. I went along as the person putting the raid on was the one who I joined last week to get the vamp mission done for halloween. Made the run in safely and the drop was achieved. It was on the walk out that trouble arose. We lost the 70 ranger that was our tank due to time constraints, and the Beastlord and ranger we had left were just not able to handle the the one room when we had some adds. My heal on the BL landed a second too late, so it may have been my fault in not being quick enough to start the CH. There were three clerics in the group of 10. Anyway all but one of us died. I did pop DA and tried to gate out but was interrupted. (I did have 3 mobs beating on me. )
Used the guild hall to rezz. All in all I did gain exp and some leadership as well.
Logged on winjon to group with friends 56 druid. Went to velks but the mobs hit a bit too hard for us to kill with any speed.
However we did end up with positive exp so no big complaints.
I also did some tradeskill brewing now at 150.
While I was in EQ elne was in the Friday night chat on allakhazams irc.
Sat and sunday, a lot of time moving items around on my toons as the bank slots were full on courtin and the ranger (one of the reasons to brew making hulgresh from vodka. )

FRI: Farmed Elementals for some quick upgrades.

SAT: Completed the 1st LVL 70 DoD spell mission and got a nice belt on completion. Was tough but worth it.

SUN: Cleared Time. Barely missed getting the pants I wanted.

My wife ruined my EQ plans for this weekend.

I therefore got mad at my cleric, and made him sit in Kurns tower and heal my necro's pet as punishement...Made it from 6 - 9 in the Kurn's enterance with Evelfrak.

stupid fairy cleric...

Oh, nothing much. Cleared Time....... again. :) Got my first Quarm loot. (I LOVE MY GUILD!) Hit Uqua for the first time. Actually dropped 2 loot bearing mobs before we had to call it. After being stalled for months we are now racing along nicely, especially for a casual raiding guild.

:D

Wow, as in the one we were talking about on Friday?

I love being a geek.
Geeks>All

I barely played this weekend. I had a strong jones for old Xbox games. I did manage to play long enough to score another Quest spell I've been putting off.

I got my first quick heal: Light of Life

Only cost me one 96% Rez.
Word to all the pallies out there - you really can get stuck in the wall in the secret passage way. Have Divine Aura memmed just in case.
