Hey, Im recently getting back to EQ, and I was wondering if its still a good game from what I left it. Im lvl 52 warrior (iksar) and im wondering how hard is it to find a flagging guild, or how long will it take me to get to lvl 70.
how long will it take to get to level 70 depends on how many hours you play everyday, and how good you are geared and your luck/skill on finding/making groups. if you are reasonably well geared (at least some average bazaar gear), you should be able to tank early teir PoP np.
rough guess, 50 - 80 hours of grind to get to 70, and plus 50 - 80 hrs to get the basical AAs that'll qualify you for a raid guild, that's excluding downtime, LFG time etc.
so, plan for 120 hours of pure grind time. if you play about 5 hours everyday, that's about a month. and we all know LFG and down time can be as long as our actual play time, so, I would say 2 months.

When did you leave? Depending on when you left a lot could have changed. Even in the last 30-45 days a lot has changed.
As for flagging it probably depends on your server. Most if not all servers I'm sure have flagging (I assume you mean Planar Progression) guilds. It's probably not hard to find one.
Getting to level 70 is going to take a while especially since you're an iksar.
If I remember SOE has some special for returning customers. Not sure if they're still doing this but it wouldn't hurt to look into it.

On our server(bertox) you would be welcomed into many different guilds. Feel free to look me up if you are on that server. We are currentlu doing DoN, PoP and OoW progression, and will gladly help any guildy catch up to us.
I have friends on other Servers, and they tell me there are lots of guilds looking for people also, and some are progressing nicely.

As a fellow tank i must tell you that man the quality of pickup groups is at an all time low. I would definately seek and active guild and join asap.

Too tired to read all of the responses but my general rule of thumb is if you have to ask a question about if you should return the answer is no.

Im a PoP/Bazaar geared, I left after DoN. Im flagged for Tier 1/2? Plane os Storm, and Torment. I play on cazic (if i didnt mention, and i would trade servers if i need to.)
