does anyone know how to get the item to use the nexus stone i hail'ed the gal in north karana but no usfull reply?

Do you mean the spires?
You tell the person there "Journey to Luclin" and she gives you a shard.

i tried both phrases.

to use the ones in "the nexus" just hav to wait for it to fire, if i remember right, nothing is needed. to use them coming up from norath, you need a shard. and that is "journey to Luclin"

Need to talk to the Nexus Scion located at each spire. Tell her 'journey to luclin' and wait :)
Make sure you're not invis when you talk to her. She won't help you if she can't see you. Not that I've ever done that. Nope, not me. /dons her Mask of Innocence.
