I like the Surveyor's Rod for a lowbie shaman. It's quick and still gives +WIS.

Even though the dmg is only 5, your melee damage is capped at levels that low anyway. The delay of 20 gives you more chances to land hits so I think it turns out to be decent DPS.

If you have the means to obtain it, or if you can find it in the bazaar, the Rune Etched Icewurm Fang is an amazing twink weapon. It has a low delay, high ratio, and a proc at level 35.

I think an Iksar Berserker Club (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=86)or

a Rock Studded Smasher (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=7575) would be good choices.

i have used Boneshod Greatstaff forever. all the way to 60's. Got if for a couple K in the baz.

Ill leave link, but didn't see that it was supposed to be twink for level ONE!! that wouldn't be that good at 1...my bad.
