Sack of Hay.Follow

So I'm in West Karana trotting around the Millers field when I spot a ground spawn.

I pick up a Sack of Hay, look it up here, and find there are some conflicting posts on how it supposedly stops your mount from consuming your food while it's in your inventory.

It appears I drink the same amount, but I really do think I eat a lot slower.

Metabolism 3 + Hay ftw?

It was used in a GM event a few months ago. I would take these superstitions with a grain of salt, for a while it was said that carrying a plains pebble would reduce your drink consumption and carrying a glass eye would improve your /random rolls.

I would call urban legend on this one, but on the other hand what would it hurt if you carried it around for awhile to test it yourself?

That's a good possibility.

Unlike the two urban legend examples you provide, however, Hay reducing a mounts consumption makes sense imo.

I'll keep it on my character for a few more days and keep a closer eye on my supplies.

hay is for 2 quests, shaky scarecrow stuffing and you can turn it into helena miller for exp and faction.

Watching my supplies today I can safely say:

Sack of Hay = crap.

Well certainly within a few hours of eating anyway.
