Castlen i beleive is near the soulbinder.
The last named is an Erudinite Female, found at the entrance of the Library in the Plane of Knowlege.(aka POK) I do not know if you have acess to POK in the Escape.
The npc locations have been moved around from the original set up, as I found out when I started a Monk last week.

The Plane of Knowledge is the central hub of Norrath.
It is NOT in the tutorial zone. To get to the Plane of Knowledge (PoK) you have to sign up for the game, select a server, and zone into the world. The books located outside most city zones will transport you to the Plane of Knowledge.

I looked at the sony web page for Escape to Norrath.
It says go up to level 10, but it doesn't say you can only stay in the tutorial (although with Sony, I expect that is indeed a limitation). To find out for sure, try to zone out of the tutorial zone. The zone out spot is a hole in the wall behind the waterfall. If it lets you zone out you should end up in the Plane of Knowledge. The Plane of Knowledge used to be a zone you could only get to if you had the right expansion, but now it is a place anyone who has the game can get to, so that might include the demo Escape to Norrath.

Escape to Norrath is indeed the tutorial zone only. To get to any other areas of the game you have to indeed pay for it and select a normal server to play on. You can not get to PoK from the Escape to Norrath server.

Only bad thing is you give up your free month if you sign up after playing escape to norrath. You truely are better off just spending $20 on Everquest Platinum, or $10 on the digital download of evolutions. Then you get a free month of gameplay. You will have to start your charactor over, but it does not take long to get to level 10.
Something to keep in mind when you sign up is when you hit level 25ish don't expect to have alot of help (IE groups). Seems like anymore once you hit lvl 25 you can't ever find anybody your level to group with and soloing is painfully slow, especially if your not twinked out.
I don't try to turn people away from the game, I just know its really hard to level up as a new player anymore due to most of your players being 65+ now. IT seems like people don't play alts as much as they used to and there just isn't alot of new people coming to the game. I have several charactors between 25 and 30 that just don't get played because I can never find a group for them.
