Morning everyone...

Wed: Austrian national holiday. Smiley: boozing Soloing in South Karana, trying to find Grizzleknot. No luck. Hunted some Gnolls, BL dinged 34.

Thu: First visit to Rathe Mountains. Tried to aggro kite my first hill giant. Couldn't keep aggro, pet died, train to zone. Smiley: banghead Went on with the Cultural Journeyman Book task in The Feerott, but wasn't patient enough to finish it. Finally went to Abysmal Sea to continue with the tailoring freebie quest.

Fri-Sun: No EQ, visiting my girlfriend's family.

Made a 2nd AA point in Dulak before getting bored and went out exploring. Made it haveway through the Easter Wastes heading to Iceclad when a guildy asked me if I wanted to do a raid in PoN. I said what the heck and joined.

Had an absolute blast! I was low on the totem pole so I just watched, slowed, and tashed. The whole hedge event was quite interesting. The Named guy at the end was much easier then the mobs that spawned throughout the event. Exp was very slow but understandable. Still learning aggro control and got killed twice because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time (don't sit down!!!). Mobs hit me for 487 points of damage x 4. I went down like a wet noodle.

Great Eq weekend!!

Passed app to my new guild, I am now a probie member Smiley: yippee

Killed the first raid mob in Demi-Blood plane. Server first and a fun fight.

RL job apps still moving, just hoping I get something soon.

Fri: No EQ. Favorite band was in town so went and checked them out. Drank too much. As usual.

Sat: Clemson plays like **** and loses to Ga. Tech by 1 point. Sucked. Anyways, logged in and a Mage and I head down to CC. Had the zone basically to ourselves for most of the night. Dinged 45 & 46 on baby beasty. Ended up making some decent cash from the Geos. Still don't have a haste item for my beasty, so trying to save up for a soulscream belt.

Sun: Grabbed some pet toys and headed to Great Divide to keel some giants. Ding 47. Bank full of damn heads and toes now. Guess I'm somewhat old school, but all my toons have to be ally with Coldain. Just don't feel right if they're not. Almost get kilt by a Frost Giant Elite. Forgot how tough those bastards can be. Pet takes one for the home team.

Get bored with GD and decide to take out some Seafuries. Forgot you could make decent cash here. Between Gornit and the Seafuries dropping star rubys and opal bracelets I come out with lvl 48 and about 1k in plat/gem drops.

So I decide I need me a Rallic pack. Make the long *** run to Tenebrous. Did I mention that I hate Luclin? Kill Grimlings for about 2 hours when I finally catch the Runner. Yay. So I haul my *** to Katta to sell **** and do the turn in to get the rallic pattern. Soon as I come out the castle/church thingy, BAM BAM BAM...dead. WTF! Friggin Blooy Vampire and his bat friends. Dont remember ever seeing those asshats before. Use my Vet AA to summon and rez my corpse...no way I was making that run again.

All in all a good weekend as I slowly approach the dreaded 50's. Still having an absolute blast with the beastlord. A very self sufficient class.

Probably hit up OOT again this evening.

I spent most of the weekend trying to get an elysian tunic for my druid, to no success. I did log in to find some guildies in Hate's Fury. I'd never been, so I made the trip over and got CoH'd in. It was a pretty cool looking zone, and had a good time. Also did an Ixblet Fer (sp) kill for one of the guild clerics.

My poor shaman was neglected all weekend. I'll have to make it up to him later.

Was away all weekend so I only logged on with time to kill the Luggald Broodmother in Nadox hoping for a ring and then call it a night.

On Thursday, my Erudite Paladin of Cazic-Thule (Smiley: wink2) finally finished her Greenmist quest and has a nifty katana of Shissar killin'. It's hardly uber these days but it was something I wanted to accomplish for her and now my guild won't listen to me ***** about Drusella any more.

Got a couple more AAs this week-end. I need only 2 more to make my buffs last 30% longer. After that I'll start working on the healing AAs, I think.

The time in Hate's Fury was fun. Got a couple named and a few items for the GB.

Rounded up guildies and took down Ixiblat Fer. Next stop: the king in Chardok.

Finished up enough AAs on the mage to get /pet hold. Now to work on the fun ones!

FRI: did an ldon, i was higher than most so xp was so-so. finished trick or treat task and pumpkin treats tasks.

SAT: tried to get more pumpkin parts for another go at task, but too many people camping too few spawns. went with a friend to dulak, got half an AA before we had to split.

SUN: logged on with intention of doing mm from silly puppet, but instanced zones were bugged Smiley: bah . went to nurga to solo a bit and maybe try to do packclaws vengeance quest. found out that packclaw has yet to be freed on stromm Smiley: mad . also found out that i'll most likely have to re-do the halloween tasks i've already done: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=1;mid=1130667514168564234;num=1 Smiley: banghead . that night i went to gunthak and soloed the temple. got both drops for the 44 LoY mage spell quest in about 45mins Smiley: yippee . and after 53 levels as a lone wolf, i finally joined a guild - shout out to Atrum Angelus!

Weekend kinda of a blur so I will smash it all together.

Waited for a raid that never happened so I worked toward 53 with a monk friend. When raid didn't happened he logged so I went to Dulak's to solo to 53 and finish off another boat on my own.

Since I had already completed the spawn for the Lady D, I went to Stormwave. Got to 53 then went to get some AA while still soloing. Made most of one and then got the Captain and his leg Armor.

So I went over to the Dandy and was a bit much for me. Got disconnected and died twice over the weekend but thankfully nice clerics have been hanging out in the GL to rez folks as they come and retrieve corpses.

Made about 3 grand in plat though so not a bad grind per se.

Played winjon and adeste the ranger.
Win was gem hunting in dl hoping for the drops needed on the Divine Might spell. No luck, as I died to an add when the dread widow was down to 5 %health and started running.
After rezz I killed a few more mobs in dl then ran to fv for the fire emerald. Saw the mob up for the veshan key and killed it. Later on Saturday I got the other two parts. Now just need a trip to gnome for the hand in.

Adeste is still in my favorite zone, Stonebrunt Mnts. Working on 2hs and blunt skill. Making the wazikashi of the frozen skies.
Put the new monk back into the tutorial. They took out the unlimited arrow supply (pout) and had moved some of the quest npcs around. Figgured out it was due to the new free tutorial.
Monk is now level 6. Dont think I will spend a lot of time on him.
