I need to know if there is a safe area in the Plane of Fear to do CRs at while everything in the zone is up. I checked the forums and saw some conflicting accounts, so I thought I would ask here. I just need to be able to rez myself and gate out. Thanks.

its a pita to do but if you can get back in corner top left from zone in and then up against wall far away from castle I have found that you are usually safe up there, one or two mobs may come in that area but usually you can take them out and have a decent area, biggest problem with fear is how far things will add to help. I must admit I am a necro so will usually run up that way with a train and FD then wait for agro to clear then set up though so not sure how much that helps.

grab a lvl 70 cleric..... have them run in, kill it all ;-)

heh, i am not kidding, i just went there to mess around the other day, had a blast, solo. 10-11 mobs beating me at once...my reverse proc blasting em all away. was good fun!

just have to watch out for the golems, and i didn't see any.

I think there is a semi safe spot some where in the SW corner. My guild raids there and is able to stay in realative comfort. It still sucks though.

i know the north west corner is safe, but to get there you have to be able to lose agro. a bard can run up there and fade memories and then he is safe there,

Really I don't think there are any true Safe spots even though the mobs don't have zone wide agro like PoG, All the mobs seem to have a huge agro radis and sooner or later a mob will come into agro range. I would suggest having an instant Gate potion (if you can afford the 1000p) or Velium Vapors with you faster then a standard gate, and several cloudy potions with you. Also you will want to have a SOW if you are attempting to get it alone

Having spent oodles of time in Fear waiting out the spawn of the Wraith of a Shissar, I can tell you there is no 100% safe spot in the zone (a hard lesson learned personally a number of frustrating times).

NW and NE corners see the least activity, and you can probably go a long time unbothered. But if you get a large-aggro-radius spider, scareling, or shiverback roaming within range, rest assured they will sniff you out.

Fear is very much over rated now.....everyone is freaked out by fear break ins......but they are not as bad anymore(graveyard broke fear).....hell your avg run of the mill lvl 65 bard could break it for you........grab a lvl 65-70 group zone in and mess it up.........

As for your question safest spot is the right side(from zone in) all the way back(at least that is where I went way back when when I did my 1.0)

You can head straight west from the zone in and it is pretty safe or head to the south west corner. They are not 100% but they are safe.

Contrary to popular belief, you can zone out of the Plane of Fear. If you have enough HP and avoidance/mitigation and Sow or Run 3-8 and/or FD it is trivial to zone out.

The zone out is in the temple in the ring of fire.
