Made my first AA point last night!
Dulak Harbor in a safe spot soloing the various Mobs.
Promptly put it into runspeed!

I have been playing EQ off and on for three years. It's about time I made an AA point.

What baffles me is that there are people with AA points that exceed 1000. Thats like leveleling from level 50 to 51 1000 times.

Killing light blues while camping Lord Bergurgle for cleric epic 1.0. As a matter of fact, since I camped for three months before he spawned, I got my first 3-4 AA's there. Yes, I know, I had terrible luck with him.
PoK, talking to the dorf after completing my first PoJ trial. Not surprisingly, I got my first augmentable charm at the same time. ;)
It loses its luster though. I'm nowhere near the 800+ of many players, but the only reason I even mentioned pinging 48 to my group was because it paid for my first level of triple backstab, and that to me was a happy moment. I might give the AA cheer again at milestones, 100, 200, etc.

I know I was in PoD when I hit 60. And I was in PoE when I hit 65. But I couldn't tell you about AA's. I guess they weren't as exciting.

Some people are like slinkies, they aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
I think Jons first aa was when he was in DSP. Its been so long ago, no Idea where Courtins first was, he now has 6. Two of them off Planes trials.
In Nedaria's Landing after soloing a turtle the first time. I was so proud and happy that I didn't even bother noticing how close the Fierce was to the next loser turtle I was going to have Fluffy eat. Game-karma has a way of bringin' ya back down to noob status pretty quickly. Time to get on board that last Noc Train out of town to the soulbinder...whooo whooo!

Not real sure either Velks Lab or Maidens Eye.
No idea, really. My cleric got his first AAs some three years ago. Probably flies in PoD. Don't know about the necro, either.

PoV, got 60, grinded 6 AAs for the title then went for 65!
I have been playing this toon for over 5 years and my playtime comes and goes in chunks. Thankfully I have been getting chances to experience different stuff lately.
Funny enough I was in Dulak's for my first two AA's, soloing carefully and yup right into run speed.
My third came while in Velk's.

Quick Question:
In order to mac out run speed: Do I need 3 AA points or do I need 6 AA points?
Since I put my first point into Run Speed, it says 1/3. Will 2/3 require me getting 2 more AA points??? 3/3 need 3 additional AA points???

For Innate Run Speed:
1 AA for rank 1 + 1 AA for rank 2 + 1 AA for rank 3
3 AAs total for Run3
1 AA for rank 1 + 1 AA for rank 2 + 1 AA for rank 3
3 AAs total for Run3

Bub- the easiest way to figure out AA cost (aside from printing the entire list, eheh) is to click on someones Magelo, and select the AA button. It shows the rank and cost of each AA in a series of nice little tables.
Couldn't even tell you where I was, but I can tell you it was spend on Run 1.

AA's go faster in the 60's.
I don't remember where I was when I got my first AA, but I spent it on run speed like most everyone else.
All of the first general aa's only cost 1 aa for each lvl. The other types usually go up in increments; 2-4-6, 3-6-9, etc.

Playing 2 to 4 hours a night, we got our new Guild Researcher 18 AA in 3 nights. Like 2 AA an hour over time.. with a fair amount of time chatting, shopping, etc.
Felicite is just over two years old, and have spent many of those 2-6 hour nights unproductively. But I have friends with 2 year old Necros and 1000 AA. AA is really easy to earn once you have the spells and skills.
I was solo Fear kiting the first boat in Dulak (Windscorn?) for my first (through 6th) AA right after dinging 51 there. Then I went back to doing LDoNs with my Guild.
The only other character I leveled past 43 (Cachet), I went 100% XP to 65, got her first AA via Storytime.

WoS, RCoD, MPG, PoFire, etc.
It's more or less based on your level. at 62 WoS, 65 RCoD, Fire, and MPG. However it's all high risk. You can safely get 2-4% at lvl 70.
