The reward factor is not 100% stacked in your favor. If you use a pick up group, you run the chance of getting some noob that doesn't get the consept of the game and cause you to fail. That is a huge pain in the butt because i hate wasting 45 min of my time and getting nothing for it. Although i will agree, its stacked in your favor quite a bit. Almost all the missions are easy, some can even be done with 3 people. Before they nerfed the pirate MM in butcherblock, you could solo it!

My question is if the names of the items change when you are under 61, then could you come in and get the +45 aug at 58, 59, 60, and 61 and have around +150 HP aug(s). How does that work?

Different items drops (presumably) every 10 levels (1, 11, 21,...51,61). If you get an item in the 51 to 60 range, then you can get the updated item at 61. You can have both.

My 61 Troll Warrior has the sword from the Fairy mission (15/20 in the off hand, 17/20 in his main). My monk was lvl 50 when I did the Runnyeye monster mission, and he got the boots (lvl 41 to 50) and his lvl (51) from that mission. Immediately went back in when the timer was ready and got another pair of boots, the 51 to 60 ones.

And yes, I edited the part of the OT mission in my previous post, I knew about the books, but forgot to update it here.

We got a "Rusted Shilgrave Buckler" from Shiliskin Subterfuge
Slot: SECONDARY
AC: 45
STR +9 STA +9 WIS +9 INT +9 AGI +9 HP +120 MANA +125
SVD +9 SVC + 9 SVP +9
Class CLR DRU SHM NEC WIZ MAG ENC

A chest popped at the entrance with it at some point.
We were inside hunting and did not see when it spawned.

It took us 30 min to get to the zone (dang see invis mobs)
and 3 hours to do the mission with 6 people.

If you die, you pop back at the entrance with half health.
A couple times we pulled a train, the puller died, then
we pulled the last mob to leave.

We had 2 war, 2 healer, 1 wiz, 1 ench.
The war have 18k hps!

Hey SuiG thanks very much for the post.

Please permit me to ask of you to keep updatting it as you can.

I'm including links to some toons that have mm gear drops on them.

I dont remember where some of the drops came from but that will happen when your rotating toons and loot the rotting stuff you cant use just to data base it at a later date at the very wee hours of the a.m.

Some gear is equipped and the other items are in inventory

The unnamed one in HH is Storming the Keep. Both in HH demand alot of time and good team work, and a full up team of 6. For the Pickclaw's revenge, most the prisoners are on the second floor, but haven't found the person you need to talk to.

Can we get this thread changed over to a sticky at least for a while? Would be nice to not have to hunt for the thread.

Storming the Keep's rare is an augment with +45 hp/mana/end as I recall. We ironicly wound up getting it while trying for the boots for a warrior. Don't remember the name so I know this isn't exactly helpful info but you might be able to dig it up on Lucy.

I noticed this in the links up top Hammer of Striking. Does anyone know where it might drop?
I have read the posts, but just do not seem to be able to find it.

Did an Allakhazam search and found the lvl 24 cleric summoned hammer. :(

Storming the keep does NOT drop a HP/Mana aug, it drops a stat aug, which I already had on MY list. I didn't have the name, cause at the time I posted, I wasn't 100% sure what it was.

I believe someone has already posted about the other Guk monster mission, the one where I train NPCs to the zone.

The problem with this thread is, people are looking a SuiG's post, which isn't as complete as my post. I had (at the time) listed more missions, and more accurate loot, cause I have actually done most of them. I suppose this is what I get for keeping the info to myself and for my guildies.

Edit: I posted a retort but I don't want this topic to be a flame war, it's about collecting info for everyone to use.

Can someone help me out on this: There are two shadowmane missions (so I'm told), the one most people know of and the one that drops the Ragepaw Sash. At first I thought they were the same, but now I have them listed seperately. Does anyone know the name of the second mission or how to get it? Thanks.

To get to the second ww mission you just have to win the 1st, that unlocks the second mission from the scout.

I hear theres a MM where all the people in the mission get to play as various Gods but didnt catch where it begins. Anyone got any info on that one?

I was in a MM last night that started in undershore... I got a +130 hp/mana shoulder item that is all/all from it. This was a common drop, the more rare drop is a 58/34 2hb.

The person who gives the mission is the prophet in the hut just to the west of the tomb in Undershore, in the same general area as the person who sells the ports.

I was gimped into this group, apprently, for when I tried it with another group I was not given the option of doing the MM but rather some prequest... has anyone done the prequest?

the hammer of striking is shown as dropping from a dod spell quest mission from a level 72 mob, hope this helps.
#50 Oct 31 2005 at 5:33 PM Rating: Decent
Defending the Caves is the second MM from Scout Bristlethorp. You must complete the first mission or be in a group who has completed the first in order to try this mission. The common reward is a pair of chain boots (the Gold-Inlaid Boots) that transform to Undershore Relic Boots, the rare reward is the Ragepaw Sash, which transforms into Malgrinnor War Sash. I also want to add Defending the Caves is much easier than Shadowmane Invasion. :)
