Hey. Sorry, im new to the forums so i dont know if this topic belongs here but I have a question. There is a spell my friend told me about that pushes the enemy back. He said it's a wizard spell but im just making sure. Does anyone know what class has a spell that can push your enemy back a little bit?

Thanks

Just about any stun has some push-back. I'm sure there's a wizard spell that has a significant amount of push though.

Wizards, paladins and clerics all have a stun line of spells with a knock back. Also the Bl pet has a spell that will knock back the mob.

Wizards also get a spell called Gravity Flux that can throw them back quite far (or straight up the in air in some cases).

There are some magician spells that have a next to insignificant amount of knockback (rain spells iirc) but have a chance of interrupting the target's spell.

Can someone tell me the names of the stun spells?

Just one for wizard, pally, cleric, and whoever else has it.

The paladin spells, starting with force and up have a knock back. They are not really to be used in an indoor setting, though I do when I am soloing.
IIRC Clerics only get 3 stun line spells one of which is force.

Yes, many stun spells have a knock back.

Gravity Flux no longer throws the mob up in the air. It's now just a high priced stun. Though the boss mob in one of the Stillmoon DoNs, an equine type, casts a version of this that does throw a player up in the air. It's pretty funny watching your tank get bucked up in the air 10 - 15 feet by a horsey.Smiley: grin

Just to add to the list, almost all of the bard mezzes force the mob either towards or away from the bard. One of my happier moments was getting the lvl 65 mez that doesn't have a "mob push/pull" component.

Shock of Lightning is a wizard spell it's like lvl 12 or something and it has a pushback of 2(I think...I know it's higher than most stun spells) pluss the agro it causes is nada so it's great for positioning mobs.

Paladin stuns can also be used to "pull" mobs toward you if need be... unless they changed this, been awhile since I did it now that I think about it.

The knockback of stuns uses a simple check to figure out where to put the mob, basically it just moves it in the direction you are facing. However the knockback doesn't occur until the stun wears off, so if you turn around during the stuns duration the mob will be pushed towards you instead of away.
