Looking for higher level shammy input, or whoever.

The Tigir/Tagar line of slows resists against magic. Other slows like cloud of grummus and one of the plague's resist against disease.

Can you stack these slows?

Just wondering.

I believe the highest slow overwrites the rest regardless of type.

Not to my knowledge, no.* The slows that use disease resist instead of magic are provided so you'll have options against an incredibly magically resistant critter. At least, that's what I've always assumed, I'm open to any info to the contrary.

*Hint for others who hate to be proven wrong: Phrases like "Not to my knowledge" leave you an out in the highly unlikely chance that you actually ARE wrong.

In my experience to date (lvl 56) highest slow overwrites others. The disease slows are considerably poorer than the primary magic based shammy slows, so dont bother using them unless you have no possible way to land the others.

If you are casting diseased based slows in a group with an equal level enchanter, their slows will overwrite your disease based one.

Slows do not stack; highest slow takes effect.

Out of topic: Hastes do not stack; highest haste takes effect. This means enchanter/shm/BL/bard (song) hastes do not stack. Even if the icons all appear, only the highest hastes takes effect. Only exception is Special Versions of level 50+ Bard songs which are listed as stackable haste.

Hastes DO stack to a point. The best spell over-writes any lesser spells, but you can be effect by 1 spell, 1 song and 1 item all at the same time up to your cap. I don't happen to know what the caps are at any given level, but they do indeed stack.

That's what I am trying to point out otherwise. Only speical songs that are flagged as "over haste" are stackable, for example, battlecry of vah shir, warcry of vah shir, rizlona, call of muse (spellings?) are "over haste" songs and breaks haste cap.

ALL other bard songs are counted as regular spell haste thus do not stack (in sense of adding haste) with enchatner/shaman/bl haste.

Many many players do not realize this, even some high level bards themselves don't neither...

120% is the max haste percent (or is it 130?) and the minimum delay you can drop your weapon to is 10. so im told anynways.

Quick reply to Assailant in regards to haste stacking. He is correct with one exception. The enchanter haste Visions of Grandeur (lvl 59? 58% haste) has it's haste tagged to a different spell "slot" (look on lucy for the slots and stuff) than all other haste spells or songs. It's been proven that this one haste spell stacks with bard normal haste + overhaste (using both). No others to my knowledge do this however.

Cafeen, I really doubt it. If that is the case, let's say a character has 41% item haste, 59% haste VoG, 60% bard warsong of zek, and 30% call of muse (call of muse is overhates, breaks haste cap) ~= 190% haste?? This is impossible to be true.

Both the buff icons from VoG and Warsong of Zek will be up, but that doesn't mean their haste are adding up. I often have up to 4 haste icons up on my buff/song box, but only the highest haste takes effect. If you want to try it, get a shaman haste, an enchanter haste, and a bard epic proc (55% haste), and bard haste song; you'll see all 4 icons up and running but I generatee you that only the highest hast takes effect.

Regarding haste cape, at level 60 character has a haste cap of 100%. And the 10 weapon delay limit has been removed.
