Two Questions in OneFollow

Just thought of this. Am Level 10 almost 11 Paladin.

Can you leave Freeport by boat any time you want to. Would like to explore other places.

Am building my one handed swordmanship/swordwomanship. I cannot find anything so far in Freeport beyond an 8 for single hand.

Please feel free to explore but if you have Planes of power expansion go to the gate without the soulbinder <the one in west freeport> go out the gate turn left and run in between the 2 cactus near the far wall that should take you into a tunnel leading to a 'Book' on a pedastal. Click on the book.

****bewarned spam incommmingggggg!!!!*******

Welcome to Plane of Knowlage from there you can travel to and base city and a few other zones and get spammed by 75+ people begging for buffs.

for weapons for you paladin save 30pp and go to PoK and find the 'Nexus' stone and go through that to Bazaar <look for the only non plate female and go down that exit> when you get there type /Bazaar and in the box type Centi Warspear and look for the lowest price and right click find trader. buy of the trader as you would a normal vendor.

Sounds like you don't have any expansions. Yes, you can take the boat. It comes about every 15 minutes so if you miss it practice fishing or swimming and catch the next one. Freeport boat has two stops: 1. Ocean of Tears (OOT); and 2. Butcherblock.

However, if you're looking for a weapon with a damage above an 8 then checking out vendors in Faydwer (Butcherlock's continent) will not help. You should stay on Antonica (Freeport's continent) and move from zone to zone asking players to sell you a better weapon--money speaks. Just type /auction WTB Better Weapon PST." WTB = Want To Buy & PST = Please Send Tells. You will receive back tells asking you to explain what's a better weapon and how much you're willing to spend. Everyone is willing to take your money. One of the best places you might auction is in the OLD TUNNEL connecting East Commonlands to North Ro. There are often many people there coming from or going on adventures (LDoN). I seldom find more than 1 or 2 players in Freeport, while East Commonlands often has 20 to 30.

Look on this site for what you want and use the prices as an example of what you should expect to pay. In general lower end weapons seem to be overpriced in Allakhazam while high end weapons seem to be underpriced compared to my server (Torv).

Hope this helps

If you dont have the luclin or the planes of power expansion by all means ask in each zone you enter for folks with a weapon to sell. It will be easier if you say what you have and are looking to improve, as well as the price range. DONT buy weapons from an NPC. At your level I was still using rusty weapons until some nice person gave me a fine steel sword. You will slowly improve your weapons as you fight higher mobs. If you can get to the warrens on odus continent you will get nice armor and weapons off the kobolds. However its a long trip on your own from freeport.

Also, I have gone shopping at the Bazaar for friends who don't have the expansion, grouping with them and linking various weapons to them until they see one they like and buy(with their money)the weapon that gets them back on the road to their dreams, LoL.

I have five expansions, not going to list them all here. Came with the original game that I got a week ago. They are all loaded.

Then go to the Bazaar via the Nexus via Plains of Power and shop for your weapon from Player Character Vendors. You should be able to find something there.

If nothing else if you want to improve a weapon, take a rusty weapon and a sharpening stone (bought at many of the fine blacksmithing merchants) to a forge and put the two in there. It make take a bit but the sharpening stones only cost like 3cp.

It will shave one off your delay or add 1 to damage, forget which.

And at your level, I recommend NOT getting off the boat in OOT. :)
