Question? OK being a lev 52 you'd think I would know this but am looking at increasing my brewing and smithing skills and lots of recipes call for items that are ground spawns? what the heck is a ground spawn?

I am not sure what question you are presenting.. You may be asking what the term 'Ground Spawn' means. In that case, it means an item such as a Misty Acorn or The One Key that is put on the ground by the server at random or specific points in an area as a pick-upable item. It might be on a timer to spawn or it might be that one is instantly created elsewhere in the zone when it is picked up.
