What is the minimum level you need to be to group with a level 65 and recieve exp?

You have to be level 44 to group with someone who is level 65. Basically you can level with anyone who is less than 1.5 times your level.
i.e. 44 can group with 65
40 can group with 60
30 can group with 45
i.e. 44 can group with 65
40 can group with 60

If my memory serves me correct. You can group with a 65 at 43.
The 1.5 your level is correct but it also gets rounded up if you end up with 1/2 level. I.E. 43x1.5=64 1/2 Rounded up is 65. Hope this helps and if I am wrong please correct me.

Theodantus is correct. Minimum level is 43 because of the rounding.

Just a quick note I have been on a regular basis at lvl 42 grouping my alts with my lvl 65 main. This is the lowest lvl that I have been able to group and get xp.
