Is there a key that will toggle my character from first to third person? I read F9 changes views but want an easy way to go back and forth between first and third person. Have just started.

Use the mouse wheel if you have one. If not, you're stuck with the f9 thing.

If you hit Alt+O to goto options, then click the keyboard tab in there you can bind individual hotkeys to almost whatever camera view you want. I have 1st and 3rd bound to [ and ] respectivly since I use these the most.
