I have my 2 PCs hooked up to DLS through a router. The thing that seems messed up is that my computer that is very fast has a really slow connection, and the computer that is slow has a very fast connection. I am wondering if the slow computer became the server somehow but I would like to set up a peer 2 peer. How can I get my fast PCs connection speed up?

if you are using a router and not running win2k or win2k3 server, you are in a peer to peer network.

what is DLS? i hope you mena DSL.

what router and what HUB/Switch are you using, and how do you have the wires ran?

DSL, yes.
My good computer is on WinXP and my slower is on 2k.
The router is a Netgear RP614. The DSL modem is right next to the phone jack, I am running an ethernet cable to the router which is on top of my fast PC. From the router I am using slots 3 and 4 to go to my computers. The second computer is only about 6 feet away.
