to start a raid press Alt R, this will open a 'Raid window'

You then invite people into your raid people you invite become 'group leaders' within the raid, they can then invite people into thier group.
this is usually directed by the 'Raid leader' because he can then generate the groups that he requires.

The 'Raid leader' also dictates who other than himself can Loot mobs killed by the raid and many other things that you will see when opening the raid window.

Good luck Smiley: smile

Good Raid zones for guilds in their 30's and 40's to start raid are Crystal caverns, Grimling forest if you want to have a wide open space to plan and execute your plans, the wurms and giant forts in GD and EW are also good.

Be warned your first few raids are inevitably total failures, not through any shortfalls in your own ability it just takes time for people to understand what the should be doing and who the listen to.

that said everyone started somewhere and even the uber guilds ***** up a raid or two

Please come back and tell us what happened there are people here that can point you in the right direction once they know what mistakes you made.
