Over the past few LDONS I ( Dwarf Pally ) have done in North Ro it seems like I am getting hit harder and harder and doing less and less dam as the average level of the LDONS get harder..

Now I DO understand that in some ways thats the way it is suppose to be, but I was hopping that with higher skills and better equipment I could match this. Now a new thought occured to me..

Below level 30 there was a real danger of leveling faster than your skills.. Now I wonder about the danger of leveling faster than your equipment..

below is my maglo profile..

Is my equipment average for my level ( half way from 54 to 55). This is my 1st character. I started playing in October on Povar..

I HAD planned once I hit 55 to get the 3 run AA's then no more until level 60, but I am starting to have 2nd thoughts.. Maybe I should also get the 3 AGI , 3 STA, 3 DEX and 3 STR to give me more HP's better AC and more offense while staying at level 55 and also hope I can get better equipment..

Our guild is planning our 1st real raid this weekend into Kael? ( Storm Giant City) .. maybe I can get some better equipment there..

Any thoughts would be helpful.. Our those the right AA's to get? One problem I have is RL only allows me to play long sessions 1 or 2 a week.. otherwise I have only 2-3 hours.. just enough time for an LDON.. I am sure others have this problem..

Thanks..

I am not an expert on AA's but one thing I do know is that you really should only spend 6 points in the first AA group. Run3 and Regeneration3. After that there are many better AA's in the next AA tab. You will kick yourself in the longrun if you spent that many aa's on ability score upgrades.

Also people really used to push run3 as a requirement, and a life saver. With LDons introducing the PAck shrew line of spells, there is now an indoor sow. This has lessened the need for Run3.

Get your Run3 then get to at least 60 before worrying about other AA's. Your levels are going to do more for you than any AA's you can get in the same amount of time.

Even at 60, it's a fair bet that you're better off going to 65, but I think that's the point where you can justify doing some AA's if you want.

Don't bother with the Stat AA's, with the only exception being doing STA3 to get your baron title.

I'd say most of your gear is decent, but some parts are lacking (especially in the AC dept). Starting with your arms and wrists is probably a good idea. I'd also suggest a better Ranged item (even a cheap-o Goranga Idol would be good). Jagged Bone Earring would make a nice upgrade from your Gemsetter (usually fairly cheap).

Yor gear isn't too bad at all Thurvok, the only thing i think i can surgest without breaking the bank are a White bear pelt cloak <1k on Dro if your willing to wait.> and you maght want to start thing about getting the solstice earring.

as for AA get run 3 and regen 3 and shoot for 65, if you happen to get free AA from flags then spend on Hit point increase in tier 2 AA.

just a thought but my 65 cleric buddy averages about an AA per hour in a good BoT group. Thats why you should wait.
