Well, jacking up your strength (increases max damage and ATK rating) will certainly help, so will improving dexterity (increases proc chance and offense skill check).

What level are you that your STR is only 87 nd you are hitting for 79? As an SK yo will want all 4 melee stats high, STR, STA, DEX, AGI. The most important thing for you is your hitpoints as you are right in the middle of combat, so a high STA is good.

100 sta minimum is essencial for any tank after that Str and Int for Sk's. i would haul your ebil *** into EK and farm those spiders for some gear upgrades brother.

If you can work up all 3 to around 150 by mid 50's that shoulg men that with Shammy buffs you'll be maxed on str/sta and very respectable even if you don't.

At 59 i have 212 Str 178 Sta and 134 Wiz <pally wis is not as importanat as Sk Int.>.

Don't get hung up on stats while they are nice to have AC / Hit points are more so and nothing makes you as good a player as you knowlage of your class.
