A while back (pre-Gates, but post LDoN) I bumped into a bard on my alt. She was holding some sword which was a one handed weapon and spikey all the way down the blade. Fear my ASCII redition:

<<<<<<<<---o

I asked her to link it but it was ages ago and I've since forgotten it and haven't ever seen anyone else weilding one. Any ideas on what it may have been? Obviously it was a bard usuable weapon, though I don't recall if it was bard specific.

I suppose doing a search in the bazaar using bard 1hs and the word sword turns up too many entries? Sorry I have no idea other than that and was feeling sorry that no one else had replied.

Ps I think you rule as well. Just not as much as Patrician, Nexa, Kaolin, Calimir, Samira or Tehom.

Well, "long with spikey thingies" isn't a valid search option on this crappy database. Imagine an equipment database not being searchable by vague physical description Smiley: lol

I could, I imagine, do a search by 1HS/Bard and look at each entry and see if there's a screenshot of the description box with an icon in it. IIRC, the icon matched the picture of the sword well enough (i.e. long with spikey thingies)

It's not a jagged blade of mourning or that swordfish beak thingy is it?

might be the 1hs sword that drops from remains of synthax (sp?) in Veksar. It is no-drop btw. Warrior friend of mine got it the other day and sounds like what you're describing.

Yeah, it's not serrated, it's actually covered with downward pointing spines its entire length on both sides (or maybe all around) of the blade.

I'll have to check out the Veksar lead. That may be it. I'm not even so worried about owning one, just that it's preying on my mind because I haven't seen anyone weilding one since and it's a pretty distinctive look.

Hmmm, is it jagged on one side or on both? I used to weild a berseker sword on my bard and it was spikey all the way down on one side.
