Which do you like better, i vote wizzy for the plains ports.
Wizzy... but i only say this bcs I hate having to stop what I'm doing and zone with whomever I'm porting...wizzy can just wish you away without even speaking to you =)

my vote goes to Magus
Wizards, but Druids with ports to BB as well.
Druids. If I need a port somewhere, I'll want a fresh SoW, too.

depends what you are looking for. both have strengths/weaknesses in the ways of porting. i like the fact that wizzies can TL instead of grouping and porting with you, but druids can give you sow/soe and such that aid your travel.
A few of the druid locations are more conveniently located than the wizard ones, but it's easier to get a busy wizard to help you out because the wizzy doesn't have to come along. I routinely ignore port requests on shout and ooc with my wizard, but if I get a polite tell, I will TL them. When I had to go along, I just didn't port people.
I love my Druid gates and circles, and I have a lot of them. Very convenient for self and group porting, but I agree that with the Wiz ability to TL, it is nice not to have to go along. When I was in HHK, people offered plat for a port. My policy has been that if I am free, I port for free. If I am grouped, I charge and split whatever I get with the group. They're usually shocked when I do, but I feel its an inconvenience to the group to have me missing and they should be compensated for it.
That said, while the Wiz ports are more convenient and go to the planes, I think the Druid is a better all around stronger class: Ports, gates, evac, nukes, DoTs, Debuff, resists, heals, regen, damage shields, buff, summon, track, forage (this has gotten me 2 of my quest items without even trying), and the ever- popular sow. Flame me if you must, but for me at least the Dru is preferable to the Wiz.

If you have a convenient bard of sufficient level a druid can TL also. :)

How was that procedure done Samira?
Can't remember if the bard DA song is group or single. If it's single then druid casts port, bard hits druid with DA, bard hits himself with DA before port spell fires. If it's group then druid casts, bard sings DA, travelers cancel DA before port spell fires.
